mgk, you're up. Aren't you happy? :D ;)
Actually, I'm tired after that one. :-\ :P
Okay, next........
1) I've co-starred with actors like Sean Connery, Tom Cruise, and Bruce Willis.
2) I've only been in one Eastwood movie
3) I'm probably just as famous for my other job (other than acting)
Are you Charlie Sheen?
Good try, Misty. The second clue certainly applies to Dragon. But, that's not who I am. (Clue #3)
Deserve's got nuthin' to do with it.
(Character) I'm a football hero
(Character) I played Clint's superior.

S'ok KC... A gals brain can get kinda fuzzy when shes up late riding the range....
btw is it tonite your time that mystic river could get its first award? i know clint gets a lifetime awardThat is correct, vik ... the Critics' Choice awards will be broadcast live at 8 PM ET on "E." I posted an item about it in the News forum, here (http://www.clinteastwood.org/forums/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=1921;start=0#msg25403). Thanks for reminding us.
(Character) I'm a lawyerIt took me a bit of brooding, but I think I figured it out ...
(Actress) I used to live with a she who was once a he !
That's right, Brendan, but do you know what the first clue is referring to? ???
(Actor) I once lived with a Trekkie
That's right, I recall now that Gore and Tommy Lee were roomies at Harvard ... but Gore a Trekkie ...? ??? I thought he just intervented the Internet, not hyperspace, or whatever they call it? ???
Actually Gore didn't "invent" the internet, he just helped it along. It was invented in the seventies by some scientists who worked in the Defense Department as a way of communicating with each other. Gore just helped promote it and bring it into the spotlight.::) ;)
How about this one ...
1) (Character) I took a bath
2) (Actor) I had my hair washed ...
That's correct, Dannyman! Do you know what Clue # 2 refers to? Anyone? ??? ;)
Well, "character" is assumed to be a character in an Eastwood movie. And "actor" could relate to either the "off-screen" actor who played that character, or to another on-screen role of that actor in a non-Eastwood movie.
"Actor" includes "actresses" too, of course! ;)
Nope, I was thinking of a film with a scene in which she gets her hair washed by a dashing gentleman friend.
Meantime, Dannyman, if you want, go ahead and post the next one. :)
:( This makes the game too damn difficult for me. I haven't seen many films outside of Eastwood movies... so I wouldn't know those clues. When I set up the game, I was asking for character clues (from Eastwood films) or interesting information about the actor that might be pretty common knowledge... and not anything too bizarre.OK, sounds reasonable, Matt ...
I think I set the precedent with my Telly Savalas clues... where I said he liked lollipops. I realize that was from his Kojak series, but it was also a really HUGE big deal back in the 70's... a cult thing, which I thought was common knowledge that most people would know. But giving clues that pertain to non-Eastwood movie roles makes this too hard for me. If anyone agrees, we can go back to the Eastwood only movie clues, and actor clues dealing with biographical facts.
I agree that the game would move faster if we restricted the clues to Eastwood movies and/or commonly known biographical information on the actor. Maybe one clue could be "can also be seen in........" and then give the name of a movie. Most of us aren't going to know what the movie or their role may be about if we haven't seen it but we can research enough to find out what movies someone has been in."Can also be seen in" and the name of a movie makes it too easy ... anyone can go to the IMDb and look up the cast of a film, and there's mighty few of them that will have more than one or two Clint co-stars.
Who wants to do another? Matt? mgk? :D
Somewhere in the recesses of my mind, I thought maybe Robert Redford washed her hair in Out of Africa but I couldn't remember for sure.:D You gots it, mgk! That was the only good scene in that movie ... ;)
Think, mgk ...
Where were you an english teacher?
KM - Is she [meaning me] alive?
LB - I don’t honestly know. I would hope so. She and I used to call each other once in awhile, but I haven’t talked to her in years. She was a great lady.

Good work, mgk! Sorry for the small blunder in my original clues. 8)
On January 11, 2000, Pamelyn, a vigorous animal activist, faced up to six months in jail after being found guilty of carrying an elephant "bullhook" at an August 1999 protest of circus training methods. A bullhook is a wooden rod with a sharp hook that is jabbed into sensitive areas of the elephant to keep it fearful and manageable. She received 30 days.
While repairing a toilet at the local community theatre, he was asked to replace an ailing actor in a rehearsal. He was immediately stricken with a love for the theatre and went to New York City, where he studied and played small roles in stock and Off-Broadway?????

For the next one.......
1) I've only been in a total of two movies but only one of them with Mr. Eastwood,
But, the way this game works ... you have to guess one before you can post another. ;)
She wrote that she had an affair in this life with the late Swedish Prime Minister Olaf [sic] Palme, who in a past life was Charlemagne, the conqueror of western Europe who died in 814 A.D.
"Well, that's what it said in my vision," she said, adding that in the vision, while she was a Moorish girl, she had an affair with Charlemagne, "one of many."
I believe you're one of Matt's favorites. :)
Next one........
1. When I was 13 years old, I was cast in a movie but my mom thought I was too young and didn't want me to go. I sued for emancipation and won but my movie wasn't a hit. :'(
2. I've been in one Eastwood movie.
Well, I thought that it could be considered two clues, but I guess I was hoping that it would be counted as one so we could get another. ;)
masterchief, why on earth would you guess something like that about a film you haven't seen? And, by the way ... Why haven't you seen Mystic River yet?
Sometimes trouble just follows a man.
According to the rules I should be allowed to go again, but I will pass to Chessie.
Philo .
I'm a busy person, is who I am ... :D :o
I've won two Oscars in my career. One of them was in one of the two films I was in with Clint.
Who am I?
A player starts by thinking of any Clint Eastwood co-star that they'll pretend to be. You give the other players two good clues to your identity. A player can either guess your identity or ask a question to help figure out who you are. The clues that are given, as well as the questions that players ask, can pertain to either your character in the film, or the actor who plays the part, just make sure that it's made clear which you're speaking of: character or actor. Penguin Books published (1987) Rubinek's non-fiction book "So Many Miracles", an account of his parents' survival growing up in Poland during World War II. 1) I was in one Clint Eastwood film.
2) I was born in a town that figures in the plot of another Clint Eastwood film.
The town I was born in figures in the dialogue and the action in early scenes of a film that Clint did not direct. The film I was in was directed by Clint.
And I'll give another hint: BOTH films are Westerns. The one that I was in was directed by Clint. The one featuring my birthplace was not.
Are you Marsha Mason?
Are you a female?
Was the film you were in with Clint a western?
Are you Hal Holbrook?

Yup. I thought it was about time I dropped a broad hint somewhere on the Board! ;)
Old or new TV series?
A bonus point if you name the TV series she was in although her character was dead. :)
Monk?
Are you a guy?
As I walked out in the streets of Laredo
As I walked out in Laredo one day,
I spied a young cowboy, all wrapped in white linen
Wrapped up in white linen and cold as the clay.
"I see by your outfit, that you are a cowboy."
These words he did say as I slowly walked by.
"Come sit down beside me and hear my sad story,
For I'm shot in the chest, and today I must die."
"'Twas once in the saddle I used to go dashing,
'Twas once in the saddle I used to go gay.
First down to Rosie's, and then to the card-house,
Got shot in the breast, and I'm dying today."
"Oh, beat [or bang] the drum slowly and play the fife lowly,
And play the dead march as you carry me along;
Take me to the valley, and lay the sod o'er me,
For I'm a young cowboy and I know I've done wrong."
As I walked out on the streets of Laredo.
As I walked out on Laredo one day,
I spied a young cowboy all dressed in white linen,
Dressed in white linen as cold as the clay.
"I can see by your outfit that you are a cowboy."
"I see by your outfit you are a cowboy too."
"We see by our outfits that we are both cowboys.
If you get an outfit, you can be a cowboy too."
Are you Melanie Lynskey?
Are you fat? ???

I'm sure Christopher knows who I am. :)
This is a new trivia game, and there might be a few kinks in it, which we can work out as we go along, but these are the starting rules and how it's played:
A player starts by thinking of any Clint Eastwood co-star that they'll pretend to be. You give the other players two good clues to your identity. A player can either guess your identity or ask a question to help figure out who you are. The clues that are given, as well as the questions that players ask, can pertain to either your character in the film, or the actor who plays the part, just make sure that it's made clear which you're speaking of: character or actor. Your two starting clues can be a combination of character and actor clues.
If you're "It", be selective about your choice of original clues. Try not to be so vague so that dozens of different actors/characters fit the description. The two hints should give the players enough information to at least "almost" get the right answer or narrow it down a lot.
The player who is "It" *wins* if there are six total hints and/or questions given before your identity is solved. Guesses at your identity that are wrong count as a question. If the player who is "It" wins, he/she is "It" for another round. No player should be "It" more than two rounds in a row. If he/she wins twice in a row, any other player can step in to start a new game.
Confused? Just remember how confusing the 15 Questions game was when we first started playing and how easy it was after we played it a few times. This will all make sense after we play a bit.
If you're just finding this game, jump in any time if there are clues on the board. You don't have to wait for a "New" game to play.
Well, I know the answer, but I don't get the clue ...Ohhhh, I see! Jason Gray-Stanford was in Monk, which SK knows I'm a really big fan of. However I didn't know he was in Flags of Our Fathers! But of course I wasn't watching Monk yet when I saw that movie.
