Hello everybody! :)
Uh...my name stands for two of the most inspirational dudes of all time(to me at least) Solid Snake(Metal Gear Solid) and Clint Eastwood(obviously).
I'm just getting into the whole Clint Eastwood thing. I own a couple movies myself and I watch the others on AMC TV and I do enjoy them very much! :)
I enjoy classic television and movies and video games.
I am a fan of the Metal Gear Solid and GTA series.
I have a part time job.
And I can't think of anything else to say about myself.
Hi I am new here. I am a fan of Clint Eastwood, he is such a sweet and talented guy. I think hes a really good actor and producer. Is this his official Message Board? No, this is the best fan site on the Internet! (http://www.clinteastwood.org/forums/Themes/yabbse/images/post/grin.gif)
I took a peek at the link in your signature showing your DVD collection. Holy cow... (http://home.swfla.rr.com/mattreigns/boardshocked.gif) (http://home.swfla.rr.com/mattreigns/boardgrin.gif)
Fred, what's your TV? I wonder if it's bigger than mine? :D
:) I've been AWOL for a long time so I figured I should re-introduce myself...
Hello to anyone who has a memory long enough to remember me! ::) And hello to all the members I haven't met yet - it's great to see so many new contributors since I was here last.
To all you guys, I missed ya. Really. And I'm sorry to have gone AWOL - you guys have clearly had some great threads in my absence. My loss, ;D but it's good to see you old hands are still here. I hope you won't mind me coming back from the dead to join in a little more.
This is clearly still the coolest forum on the web! O0
Happy New Year to all of you. :)
Hi I am new here. I am a fan of Clint Eastwood, he is such a sweet and talented guy. I think hes a really good actor and producer. Is this his official Message Board?
Howdy everyone. My names Jeremy. I'm a big fan of Eastwood westerns. Unforgiven was the first one I saw that got me started. Now I own all of em except Hang Em High, which I'm getting this weekend. I'm going to start watching his other movies soon too.Welcome, Dark ... or Jeremy! Unforgiven got me started on Eastwood, too. Enjoy the movies, enjoy the site and good luck in your Navy career! (http://www.clinteastwood.org/forums/Themes/yabbse/images/post/smiley.gif)
Jess, I've said it to you before, I'll say it again... please pick ONE user name, and stick with it. Either Skippy, blueberry, or dreamystar will do. Now you have four identities...

Let us know a bit about yourself and how you became a Clint fan. We'd also love to know how you found this site. Basically, tell us anything you'd like us to know about you!
did anybody read this far? LOLI did. ;)
Okay, I may be slightly obsessed
... and suddenly…I don’t know..something clickedSounds familiar! It happened to me, and I suspect to a lot of us here. The "something clicked" factor seems to be big with Eastwood fans.
I like that "Something clicked" line too.. Thats exactly what happend to me.... :) many years ago..watching Coogans Bluff.
What I can't understand is why so many people like Bridges of Madison County so much ???
Can anybody explain???????
Answer to why we love Bridges....because all us girls make believe we are Meryl Streep taking a bath with Clint!!!
Sounds familiar! It happened to me, and I suspect to a lot of us here. The "something clicked" factor seems to be big with Eastwood fans.Yeah ... that clicked here too ;)
Answer to why we love Bridges....because all us girls make believe we are Meryl Streep taking a bath with Clint!!! Seriously, it's a wonderful, great, romantic film with superb acting...and Clint looked drop-dead handsome to boot. !!Hum ... 'know what ? I think that's why it clicked ;D
”This is so good!” “I never knew I liked Westerns!”Same here :D
I was watching Bridges .. hadn't I watched it, I probably wouldn't be here today 8)That goes for me too
So I'll be eternally thankful he made this movie ... I'd have missed so much ...
And today I own 40 of his movies.
G'Day Ronin, and welcome back. O0
Velkommen! Clint har mange norske venner, som jeg merker. 8)

Admittedly I'm not a huge Clint Eastwood fan--though I've liked him in the films of his I've seen.
G'Day,and welcome to the board.

I hope to have interesting exchanges with you.
I am discovering this site and would be pleased to know more about it quickly. Some experienced people could be of help ? My english is not so good, I am French from Paris.
I, just like you I think, have a great admiration for Clint EASTWOOD and a special preference for MADISON BRIDGES , If this title is good in english ?? I hope to have interesting exchanges with you.

Hello everyone! It was great to find this site dedicated to Clint, I´ve been a fan for over twenty years now. If I remember correctly the first Clint film I saw was Two Mules for Sister Sara... I also admire him very much as a director, he´s one of the few remaining 'old school' directors more concerned with content than style although he has both. This site looks great and has about all the information on Clint and his films one could hope for! I´m sure I´ll enjoy my stay and start posting as soon as possible. :)
Since we've gotten a lot of new members lately, I thought I'd start this thread for any of our new members, or even our existing members, to introduce themselves to the members of this forum. Let us know a bit about yourself and how you became a Clint fan. We'd also love to know how you found this site. Basically, tell us anything you'd like us to know about you!;HI i've been a clint eastwood fan as long as i can remember. My favourite films of his are his westerns.I'm a bus driver from Leeds, and i put clint eastwood in msn search and here i am.I am a massive fan of ennio morricone the greatest soundtrack producer of our genre.
We'll be merging all threads where members introduce themselves into this one, so keep checking back here to see who our newest members are.
Welcome to all our newest members. We hope you like it here. :)
It's good to be back, nice to see some old faces, KC, Philo, Matt....
Hi, I'm Dragon (a monniker I use in other places, but in different context - this "Dragon" might be a nod to that bloodless freak in The Eiger Sanction).
I'm here because I was unusually affected by The Bridges of Madison County, though I've been a Clint fan as far back as I can recall. I like his atypical work: Beguiled, Play Misty for Me, and now, "Bridges". Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are consummate actors, but Clint and Meryl were fantastic. Finally, a movie for my lady and me with my favorite male lead.
I just wish I could turn back the clock twenty years and have Mr. Eastwood around that much longer.
Well, that's why I'm here...
:)
You're gonna love it ;)
How - maybe "where" - do I get notified of web events, special online chats, etc. pertaining to this site? You want my advice ? Try to hang out here as often as you can ;)
another Aussie. O0
They don't make them like they used to...Don't worry, it's not just you, Harry.
Hi folks I'm from Scotland, I found this site when I was looking for desktop wallpaper.
This seems a really informative, friendly forum without some of the egos that I've found on other ones.
I never knew that there were so many people interested in the same films as myself.
As your number of posts increase you go from one level to another. However, the quality of your posts is more important than the number of posts you have. Some of our major contributors have very few posts. Anyone who posts just to raise the number of posts they have runs the risk of having frivolous posts deleted by the moderators. It's important to earn your level of membership based on the informative information in yours posts.
We welcome you as a member and look forward to any valuable information that you care to share with us.
I am also new here but the things I have seen makes me want to get old here among you other Clint fans.
27 years old, 178 cm and 80 kg (pure muscle ::))
I think a quote from The outlaw Josey Wales would fit nice here.
Lone Watie: "Grandma says it´s our home. It is all of ours."
It's a nice change from the Oakland Raiders boards I frequent that's for sure!
My friends are fed up with my gushing about Clint Eastwood all the time
My friends are fed up with my gushing about Clint Eastwood all the time (or as they call him, "that old guy"
;D Thank you. I'm glad I found this site! My friends are fed up with my gushing about Clint Eastwood all the time (or as they call him, "that old guy" :-\ ...I've been there ::)
okay, it is a little odd to be a 22 year-old girl lusting after a 75 year-old man, I admit), so now I have a place to get it all out. :)Welcome to the club of the twenty-somethings "lusting over" Eastwood -and other "mature" actors *at least in my case :D 8)
...No welcome for me? *snf*..
;)
:-[ Oh. Never mind. Still gotta keep searching for the right girl. :-\Aw, you'll find her someday. It never occurred to me that this site could be a place for a couple to find each other. But what better thing for two people to have in common than a love for Clint Eastwood? ;)
Hi! RawHideBaby here!!!! :) My Father is John Cole.
He was an Actor / StuntMan on Rawhide.
I never knew my Father. My mother divorced him when I was just a baby..and he passed away when I was 6yrs old. I never got a chance to meet him but have often longed to know the man he was. As a child I always wanted to meet Clint Eastwood so he could tell me all about my Dad.
I have an older sister by my father, who I finally met in 1989... And found out in 1996 that we also have a brother. Is that some Oprah stuff or what!? ;)
I've been told my Father was a real ladies man. They swooned over him and every one that ever met him, wanted him. So we have to wonder if there are more of us running amuck. ( laughs )
I have several pictures of my Dad . Most are casual home photos when he was married to my mother..but I also have a few character pictures from episodes of Rawhide ( could also be from Bonanza or 26 Men ..... I'm just really not certain of that now ).
I also have a few pictures from a Golf Tourney ( dated 1959 ) of my Dad and a young Clint...( couple of other men that I believe to be Directors or Producers....once again thats info I'm not sure of ).
One of the pictures has been noted & signed, to my Dad, by Clint and the other two men.
Several years ago someone brought the autographs to my full attention..saying " Do you realize you have an autographed picture of Clint Eastwood that is probably worth some money to someone? "
All I could say was that I had never really gave it any thought truthfully.... to me, it has always been simply a symbol of my Daddy, no one else in the picture ever really mattered...but the need to know my Father always has. I'm always proud to show off Clint too O0 tho he is usually the first person people notice. ;)
I recently found some info about my Dad in the IMDB.com database.( lots of EastWood info there also) It was finally nice to see my Fathers accomplishments and name somewhere besides a death certificate. Thanks for listening . And Great Site!!! O0
so tell me some of the best places to go on here...it is pretty big!!
The whole site is awesome and very addictive. O0
"with all due respect sir, your beggining to bore the hell out of me"
Well, Jed, I mean Brian, I'll probably go blithely on calling your "Jed" for the next six months! :o
Why not just change your real name to "Jedediah"? ;)
Seriously, welcome ... all over again ... to the Web Board!

Haven't seen the board this active in a while. Great stuff.
I've noticed WeAllGotItCominKid has the same taste in films and music as myself and if he's a golf fan, we could just be twins. :o
Hi lovelyrita,
Welcome, sounds like this board is just your cup of tea, I hope so! I noticed your avatar too, that's a good Space Cowboys quote. O0
I'm gonna make a guess - are you by any chance a big Bridges of Madison County fan?
Hee hee, good! O0 Indeed, there are several sensible men on the board who share your opinion. (Dave, I bet you're lurking somewhere!)
I believe this is arguably Meryl's finest work.
Meryl was wonderful in the movie, they had amazing chemistry. She was Clint's choice and thankfully the right one.

Hi Roberto, and welcome to the board. Riding in the land of spaghetti westerns would certainly be a cool thing to do. O0 I've always fancied doing one of those all inclusive trips to a ranch in the States.
Hello! :) I'm new but I already know some people here since they are also members on the Leone boards (TB, Jill and CJ at least). I counted I've seen fifteen films either stared or directed by eastwood, but sadly I can't remember everything about them all (Dirty Harrys :-X). I also added me in the map. Now I'm the third member from Finland!
I can't promise that I'll be a very active member, but I'm still here.
Hey moviesceleton!!! Welcome to the Clint Forums buddy. It took you long enough. I think you'll find you'll love it here just as much as the Leone Forums.
When he refers to TB, he's talking about me. I'm Tucumcari_Bound over at the Leone Forums but am under a different alias here as everyone can see. :)
Tucumcari_Bound is a good screenname too ... and you know the train stops there. ;)
Welcome, moviesceleton! It's nice to have another Finn on board. Happy posting! 8)
Bonjour, Sylvie !
Nice to meet you too! Thanks for a warm welcome.
You are not an unknown parson for me, because I looked you on TV last year when Old Clint went to Lyon!
So, nice to exchange words with you.
A très bientôt!
I would like to do it! But it's not easy for me, you know with a dico, I must take time!Welcome higashimori, I am certain you will enjoy posting on this site. Your English is fine. We have people from all over the world and we can understand what they say. It is great that you have decided to write posts yourself and not just read our posts.
I think I'll stick around SK :)
Marry! ;)Thanks. I might need to get my glasses checked. ;D
Thanks. I might need to get my glasses checked. ;D:) I find that your sense of humor is much better since you changed your avatar , Richard ! O0

It's nice to see you here, Sgt. Gunny! You will find everyone here to be nice, respectful, and pleasant. There's nothing like Clint Eastwood fans. I hope you continue to post here on a consitent basis. We need all the die-hard Clint Eastwood fans as we can get. :)
Happy posting bro! :
Welcome, Sgt. Gunny! And thanks for bringing in a new member. WAGICK! 8)
Welcome Pvt. Kelly.
I love your location too. The big question is have you found any yet???
If he had, he wouldn't still be there ... would he? ;)
I am hoping that someone can get this information to Mr Eastwood. (Web Master - If it's not appropriate to post this on your site, then I apologize, please remove it if you deem necessary).
I am the father of a Federal Correctional Officer who works at USP-Atwater, CA. We suffered a tragic murder of a Federal Correctional Officer at the facility on June 20, 2008. Officer Jose Rivera, was attacked and killed by two inmates at the facility. We have organized a group of Family and Friends of Correctional Officers Web Site http://www.correctionalsafety.org
We would like Mr Eastwood to consider being our Spokesperson. We know that he has been a long time advocate of Law Enforcement
If anyone can get this information to him, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank-You
Welcome Ben, you chose the best forum on the internet. ;)I agree O0
I wonder how Reach is doing with his project? 8)
Welcome to elementalhero and LCat! Enjoy the Board! :)
elementalhero, I'm interested to know that Clint is popular in the Arabic-speaking Middle East. We don't hear much about people's preference in popular culture in that part of the world.
Hello everyone
I'm Bluemist and I'm new to this forum. I am a huge fan of Clint Eastwood and have enjoyed watching many of his films time and again over the years. I'd have to say my 2 top favourites are Play Misty For Me (hence my user name!) and The Bridges Of Madison County. Every time I watch The Bridges I always want Meryl Streep to get out of the car and go off with him in the end. Its so sad to watch him drive off for ever. I also enjoy a good cop film like Tightrope, for example. I never get tired of watching Clint and enjoy looking at those chiselled features every time. :)
Hello Dirty Mary. Welcome back. It's over 12 months since you joined the CEWB hope your back to stay this time.Hey ;) thank you muchly ;) yeah I hope that too ;)
Välkommen, _Clintan_! Vad kul att du har hittat hit till oss! 8)
Jag har lurkat på forumet tillräckligt länge för att veta att du inte är svensk, men hur kommer det sig att du kan svenska, och förstår danska & norska? :)
Välkommen, AnecdotistOwl! Your username is of course an anagram for Clint Eastwood! 8)It wasn't so obvious to me, KC, you have a good eye. :)
Been a fan of Clint Eastwood since the early 1970's :)
Clint's best film and works are yet to come ! ^-^
Bienvenidos, Carlos! Welcome to the Eastwood Web Board!
We'll be happy to see you posting here. You may not be aware, however, that some people consider posting in ALL CAPS to be impolite, like "shouting." We do prefer people to type in both capital and small letters, just as if you were typing a letter. :)
I hope you enjoy the Board! 8)
I'm totally new to this and probably won't post often, but that could change.Hi, Elizabeth77, and welcome to the Board. :)
Hi, Elizabeth77, and welcome to the Board. :)sorry everybody, the previous post i did was not finished, that's why i have submitted it again, once again welcome to the Board Elizabeth77 :)
I was the same at first but once you start adding your own posts it becomes very enjoyable, It's great to hear everybodys point of views and I hope in time we get to read your posts :)
Hi all!
I've been following the forum for a really long time and finally decided I just needed jump in and join. Seems like everyone has a good time here and I've enjoyed reading many of the threads.
I really like that you have a "movie night" (nice idea) but my TV and computer are in two different rooms, so watching with you all would be difficult! Sorry that I missed the "Survivor" game, but I'll get it next time 'round! ;)
Anyway I'll say that Clint's westerns (Dollars Trilogy, High Plains Drifter, The Outlaw Josey Wales, etc) are probably my favorite of his body of work and I think I've seen most of his movies over the years, barring a few. Joe/Manco/Blondie is definitely my favorite character.
Well I guess that's it for now and I look forward to joining in when I can!
GreenEyes
Welcome, GreenEyes!
I look forward to reading your posts. Like Aline said, great avatar. O0
Thanks for the welcome SC and Elizabeth77! Glad that you like the avatar too Elizabeth77, who knew it would be "popular"! :D
Hello, my "real" name is Mike, I love the Rush song Tom Sawyer, a huge Rush fan. I love Clint Eastwood films, he is second only to Jimmy Stewart on my favorite actor list.
Nice to find this board!!
This isn't a so big surprise, GreenEyes. Coogan has always been one my fav Clint characteres and he and Julie make a lovely couple. :)

Welcome to the board PN6. Sorry about it taking so long to register but we've had huge spammer problems in the past couple of years but we're glad to hear you persisted and are now on board.
Happy posting. 8)
Welcome PN6 and yes this is an exclusive club bordering on obsessive. ;)
In reality I just fell hard for Clint earlier this year (when I caught Hang 'em High and High Plains Drifter on TV) and have since been watching every movie I can get my hands on.
Your avatar is a bit...distracting ::)
Aline means, in a good way! ;)
Welcome to the board, sqlartist. Happy posting.

That was Honkytonk Man ;)

Hi All, new member from Australia, fan of Mr Eastwood since 1987, has been interesting and enjoyable to watch the critical appraisal of his work and art become more positive over the years, he is, perhaps, the most successful populist film maker ever.
Looking forward to reading more posts, the Thunderbolt and Lightfoot Gay Subtext thread is as hilarious as it is enlightening!!!!!!

Try to get some more Eastwood fans over here for the Eastwood Challenge. We're watching ALL his movies, and we just started the first week (of 33 weeks of Eastwood Movie glory).
Try to get Matt (Southern Cat) over here too. Things got a little slow here, but then I showed up (again) to bring hell back to the board (feeling like Stranger a bit).
I wish I had known about your forum. I just practically gave away about $10k worth of Eastwood for $1,800. :(
Welcome to the Board.
Absolutely! We're in a "rebuild" state here. This forum community is 18 years old, and has seen a drought the past few years. It's definitely on a surge again, and we are hoping to get more members and more activity. It would be awesome to do a co-forum movie night.
Swell.
About how many active members do you have there? (Not registered users)
I think one of you guys tapped my movie poster forum I co-own, looking for SouthernCat (aka Matt) whom is also an owner with me and one other Aussie.

Welcome to the Board, nico! :)
Welcome! We're happy to have you here! :)Thank you very much :)
Hello everyone. I worked in the film industry for 25 years building sets. I've worked on a few Eastwood films including "Space Cowboys", "Midnight In The Garden Of Good And Evil" and a few others. No westerns though. I live in Carmel Ca. now and see Mr. Eastwood from time to time. Two years ago, he was the Grand Marshall for the Carmel Centennial Parade. He was on a Wells Fargo stage wearing his Poncho from the Dollar trilogy, his Andy Anderson walk and draw holster, hat from "Unforgiven" and his shirt from "High Plains Drifter." He looked great for his age. (https://i.imgur.com/EUON7pf.jpg?1)
Here's a sketch I did about 40 years ago. (https://i.imgur.com/JPqjNFX.png?2)
I also like to do leather work and make hats. Here's my take on Joe Kidd's hat with a copy of an Andy Anderson walk and draw rig I made. (https://i.imgur.com/yxj2Kvo.jpg)
