:) Good lunchtime from a part of The American Midwest-USA:

TIGER WON !!   TIGER WON!!    Great comments by everybody!!  Here in the Colonies, in our little place in the world, we have been supporting (cheering) TIGER
as soon as we learned about him....

We don't support club throwing or bad swearing but He's such a complete champion that we learn to get over it....

We saw him tee off on Hole #10 ....it was magnificient at Jack Nicklaus' Memorial Tournament.....Our first time to see him in person...For us, here in OHIO-USA, he is a class act.....has all the good stuff.....practice, exercise, you name it....

Well I thank you again for your great comments .....Now, I hope I have good luck posting this.

THAT'S SOME BAD HAT, HARRY !!!

Good late afternoon from a part of The American Midwest-USA:

We were pulling for Greg, but just like Tom Watson said, he needed to keep that driver out of the game plan.....We couldn't believe it, Paddy was down the middle, Greg was in the weeds......it was brutal....but, Greg is still a champion in so many ways......

       Respectfully,

:) Good noontime from a still snow on the ground part of The American Midwest-USA:

Hi, folks...I just now found this subject and am way behind....I'm almost an addicit for buying DVD's...

     But, the most recent is:

      FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS

Found it two or three days in a KROGER (huge grocery chain) store they were just stocking it and they had it in widescreen and I jumped on it...

Absolutely a necessary movie for us to have.....No special features, but I imagine they will make up for it when LETTERS comes out.....

I don't go to theaters anymore, I just wait for the DVD in widescreen...

    Sincerely,

THAT'S SOME BAD HAT, HARRY  :frank:

I've been having trouble posting so I hope this goes through....

Good morning from a part of The American Midwest-USA:

I have not received any of these replies so I had no idea what was going on....

Phil showed us a beautiful respectful way to win and I'm respectful of his great golf.

What looked crazy to me was how could Tiger go in the water twice with all of his skills???

Good morning from a part of The American Midwest-USA:

Hi, gang...just here this morning to help TIGER on to another victory.

Also, to try to re-establish  the notification feature which I think I lost a while back...I'm not sure...I know I clicked it but I don't think the request took....

    Anyway, GO TIGER, GO !!!!

:)Good about lunchtime from a part of The American Midwest-USA:

I treasure both of these great films, but I only have one on DVD....I still need HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER...

I was hooked when he did a number on those four bullies with the axe handle....I don't know I just love that kind of thing.....I never got concerned whether he was some imaginary miracle of some kind....I just enjoyed seeing the bad guys getting wasted, which is what I like....

I realized it is almost a year later, but I just found this subject....

Good after the snow storm morning from The American Midwest-USA:

Fair question, but this is a typical situation on the PGA tour.....a player will come up out of obscurity(sp) post fantastic scores and then go back down to number 135 or something on the list....sometimes you never hear from them again....it is frustrating for me because I am a TIGER WOODS FAN and it seems that these are the kind of guys that beat TIGER and it doesn't seem right to me....

I mean the next week they don't even make the cut most of the time....I hate it when somebody beats TIGER...but that's just me...

Now that's only my look at things golf..but that was a fair question covered by a loyal TIGER WOODS FAN....

Respectfully,

Good lunchtime from The American Midwest-USA:

Hi gang, I was so happy to see in the newspaper that TIGER WOODS won Player of The Year award again this year...

I also saw where he earned over 80 million dollars for 2005.

Now that's a chunk of change for one year on the greatest golf courses in the world...I think he won 5 million for golf and the rest from endorsements..

Hope you all have a nice lunch in your respective time zones.....a big winter snow storm is on its way here for us in The American Midwest-USA.

:)Good morning fellow golfers from The American Midwest-USA:

Interesting problem which seems to never change...

For me it's remembering what club to use for difficult shots close around the green and it always is sand shots when I have not had a chance to practice.

It's that feel, that hand to eye coordination that just leaves....

Anyway, how about that skins game yesterday and Fred Funk beating everybody..

    Have a nice one, gang....

Good morning from The American Midwest-USA:

Well, I finally found the golf subject....after all this time.....oh well....

A few messages ago, there was a question about any other golf movies and I think I might have a classic for great viewing:

FOLLOW THE SUN (1951) with GLENN FORD playing the role of BEN HOGAN.

It is black and white but I thought it was a fine job, I was only about 14 or 15 the first time I saw it....In those days golf was not in my life, so I didn't understand lots of things.  I'd love to see it again someday...I'm not sure it is available on tape or DVD...

I am enjoying your comments about golf and I will try sharing a few things at a later date.....we are moving again and I have had to postpone golf for awhile....

The entire exchange between both of them in such a dangerous situation.

Nice subject..there are many other scenes that I was consumed by as well...
