I saw The Mule a week ago. I liked it. My thoughts on it..

I was wondering whether he knew what he was about to get into. He seemed quite care free driving into that garage and seeing a man holding a gun. And he seemed surprised seeing those drugs when he opened the bag. I wasn’t able to read him about whether he was aware in the beginning that it was drugs.

I had no expectations from the trailer and the ”I swear this is the last one” makes the tone of the trailer seem that he was in some kind of despair at some point. But it didn’t really seem that way. I could only see despair when he was about to get caught. The chase made me think this has a Gran Torino-ending, but I was happy about the way the film ended. He seemed to be at peace.

I could also see pity on the agents’ face (Cooper) when he realised who he was, and also in the court when he was sentenced. Do you think he would have gotten a sentence if he had let the lawyer do her job?

Ella as a name is timeless, here it might be that it used to be more common at the time of my great grandmother and my grandmother but now the old names are coming back. For us it was just important to use the names from our families. It is actually common to give several first names and Ella has 3. First two are both from my great grandmother and the last one is from my husband's mother.

Thank you Gant.  :)

Her name is Ella, after my great grandmother. We have agreed not to put a picture of her face out on the public social media but I could PM a picture for you KC.  :) And if there are others who want to see her.

Cool, Palooka!

I have no idea when I’ll be able to see this because of the baby. I might even have to wait for the dvd this time.

Forgot to come and tell the news! :D

Our baby girl was born on 13th December. Her heart rate went down a bit so they helped her out with a suction cup. We had minor difficulties in the beginning, she was quite yellow and had to be treated for that under the blue light. Her weight went down also and we had to stay in the hospital for five days. But everything is good now, her appetite is endless and she is getting roundness to her features. To us, she is the most beautiful thing in the world. So happy.

Today's my due date. Nothing happening yet. It would be perfect to give birth tomorrow. It's the 100th Independence Day in Finland. Babies born tomorrow will receive a letter and a gift from the President. But of course the baby will come when ready. We're super excited here! :)

Here's our baby wall, almost ready. Just need some ground under their feet. And maybe I need to paint the the tree trunk again, the brown is still a bit transparent.

We're over halfway here!

Sad news. You and your family are in my thoughts and hope you can make the best of it with the time you have left.

God Bless.

Thank you KC! :)

My day will be all work and baby kicks. We had a barbecue with my parents on Sunday and we ate cake with cream and fresh strawberries. Today it's halfway of my pregnancy! :) On Friday we're going to Jyväskylä with my mom for a little birthday trip. Auction, flea markets, friend's summer cabin with a lake and a lakeside sauna. We're also going to see a play at a coutryside summer theatre. It will be good fun.

There will probably be a lot of Moomin stuff as well, but on the wall I want Dumbo, and several other characters. From my favourites when I was a kid. Moomins could be on curtains f.e. There's so much Moomin stuff available here. My friend from Germany is a huge fan of Moomins, I never have trouble buying her a present. ;D

I already have Moomin dishes, plates and mugs.
