Amy Adams...... :o

She's got to be as close to a 10 in the looks department as a woman can get.

What with that reality tv show and now this is he going senile? Seriously, he's getting so old now it's just sad to see him rambling like that.

Some funny stuff on Twitter #eastwooding

Ahem.  Skirting the edge of decorum on a message board dedicated to the man.

Not sure I appreciate above comment, not one bit, regardless of whether he made a good or bad speech.

Now that is one beautiful woman.

Loved the movie.  Objectively, I can say the ending was probably brilliant, only problem is I just can't handle seeing my hero shot and killed, I can't deal with it.  At least they didn't show his face much when it happened.  I know, it's childish, but that scene was too hard for me to handle, I walked out in a daze, altho I had a good idea what would happened, when it actually did I almost disassociated myself from it.

It's very heartwarming to see or hear from the next generation of Clint fans, way to go Christopher!   O0 O0 O0

Goin nuts up here in Canada, Jan. 9th can't come soon enough.  It has been getting HEAVY promotion up here, the past 2 weeks you can't turn on the telly without seeing the trailer.  My friend saw and gave it 8+ out of 10......I would be ecstatic to see it number 1 at the box office.

Is the release date for Canada as well?  Usually we get films the same dates as you guys in the US.  Man, I'm frothing at the mouth seeing this trailer, I'm giddy as a schoolboy.  O0

Director Spike Lee axes agent after film flop

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Spike Lee has left his Hollywood talent agent of more than 15 years in the wake of the dismal box office performance of his latest movie.

The combative filmmaker jumped to Endeavor from William Morris, three weeks after his World War Two movie "Miracle at St. Anna" opened to just $3.5 million; the Disney release has grossed just $7.5 million to date.

Pardon my ignorance, I'm not American and I had to look up what an Hmong is, sounds like this is some fantastic untapped subject matter for Clint once again, and I'll even learn something new about American history.  Can't wait to see this film.

IMO Spike Lee is the racist in this whole thing, but then that's nothing anyone didn't know about the man in the first place.

Thank God it isn't going to be another Dirty Harry film.  That would be so utterly pointless, and I wouldn't want to see that.  Gran Torino, however, is a film I think I'd like to see.

Yeah, it doesn't really further the plot of the movie though.

Boy, am I steamed.  How dare you, Mr. Lee, attack Clint Eastwood's integrity.  He is the last person on earth to attack regarding racial issues.

>:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Bird is one of Clint's best films of all time, Mr. Lee, have you not seen that?  Or Unforgiven, or Million Dollar Baby? Perhaps Mr. Eastwood didn't tell a story about African Americans in IWO JIMA because there wasn't a story to be told?

Would he prefer that Clint just make something up?

Wow, Mr. Lee certainly has embarrassed himself.  Just when you thought he couldn't get enough of his foot in his mouth, he shoves his whole leg in.  As Clint says, he really should check his facts.

Not my favourite topic.  I'm actually sorry I clicked on this thread for so many reasons.

God Bless the dear man no matter what he decides to do.  He's given us more than anyone every need to.

Does anyone know how graphically violent this will be?  I realise it's a war piece, but I have trouble watching the seriously graphic violence that was in Saving Private Ryan.

Chief Dan George: "I could have missed".

There's so many.  How about the one when Ned turns to Will Munney and says he can't shoot the guy in the canyon.

Or when Will finds out Little Bill killed Ned.

I don't like the way she treated Clint, so as far as I'm concerned I don't like her.

Met Clint?  No big deal.  I hang with him all the time.  We have a beer together, golf, he has me over for dinner.  Asks me advice about his career.  Yep, me and Clint, we're best mates..... ;)
