i could live with another slapshot sequel starring clint, paul and of course the hansen bros. i suppose clint will need to learn how to skate first though. ;D ;D ;D

i also liked him in the movie being john malkovitch.

3) zoso: Eastwood has had car trouble and has knocked on your door at 5:00 o'clock one night.  You help him make arrangements to have the car fixed but it won't be ready until noon tomorrow.  He tells you that he doesn't know where he's going to stay for the night so you invite him to stay at your house.  What will you do to entertain him that night and part of the next day?

that's an interesting question mgk  :) well, i guess a man's gotta eat so provided it wasn't in the middle of winter, i'd fire up the bar-b-q and cook my specialty, steaks marinated in beer all afternoon. then i suppose i'd let him pick through my c.d. collection all night and d.j. the evening if he wanted. though i'm afraid i don't have any jazz selections for him, i do have some ray charles, louis armstrong amongst a few others in my meager blues collection.
as for the next morning, i'd book an early enough tee-time and promptly begin my butt-kicking on the links. i guess that may sound a little boring but i'm not much of a club person or a crowd guy for that matter.

zoso:  Which co-star that Clint has worked with has been your least favorite, and why?
i think my least favorite co-star has to be tyne daly so far. i realize cagney and lacey came after the enforcer but  seeing the movie for the first time long after the show's run, i couldn't get past her role as one of the two cops, cagney or lacey, whoever she played.

i have answered it before christopher, and i think it changes by the day or my mood. i do, however keep coming back to the beguiled for some reason. i also like josey wales, dirty harry, gbu and unforgiven  to round out the list.   thanks for the tag.
i'll tag later when i come up with a few questions. i would like to add that all the questions posed so far have been great though.

brendan is right, we did discuss this on the old board because i remember thinking and saying the same thing about his resemblance. i also seem to remember being shot down in flames by everyone else so don't feel too bad. you do have at least one guy on your side. ;D

zoso: If you could sit down with Clint and watch one of his movie with him, and then discuss it afterward, which one would it be?

sorry about all these posts, people, i can't get my quoting to work. to answer your question brendan, matt kind of stole my thunder as i wanted to say paint your wagon and ask him what he was thinking or who told him it would be a good idea to do that movie? ;D ;D ;D. but i suppose it would be unforgiven, having just watched it again last weekend. i'd like to get his thoughts on the film and press him for one last western.
i'll tag: vik.   which comedian, dead or alive, would you most like to see eastwood or could accept eastwood doing a buddy cop movie with?
aka: what part of clint's film career, if any, would you change and why.
d'ambrosia: if you were on the golf course with clint and in a tight match, would you let him win with that 5 foot gimme' or would you go for all the marbles? ;D

zoso:  I remember you saying not too long ago that you bought quite a few Eastwood DVDs.  Have you had time to watch some of them?  If so, which one that you most recently purchased did you like the best?  If not, then which Eastwood film is your favorite and why?

I wouldn't say quite a few mgk, especially by this boards' standards but i picked up blood work, the man with no name trilogy and unforgiven. the christmas list is quite long this year. i have a few favorites though. gbu and dirty harry because they introduced me to eastwood's cop and cowboy movies but i think my favorite is either josey wales because the story was great and i really enjoyed chief dan george in his role. i also really liked the beguiled. to me it was off the beaten path for eastwood and right in line with some of my more bizzare tastes.

zoso: If you could have dinner with Clint, what would you talk to him about?
well, Brendan, since i'm not an overly talkative guy, and given the fact that i'd be slightly starstruck eating dinner with the man, i'd probably want to ask what his daily life is like  and about his golf game. i'd also try to sell him on coming to this god forsaken city [ottawa] just so we can say something interesting happened here for once  ;D

well i went and bought that boxed set along with blood work and the tenth anniversary unforgiven. thanks for the offer nightwing but when i saw it on the shelf, it was calling my name.  i bought a fistful of dollars for 24$ and change and then while we were shopping at walmart, i found the box set for 30 bucks. i hadn't unwrapped the fistful yet so i promptly returned it. then i log onto the board only to be let down by lt. briggs. where were you yesterday lt. before i went on this spree? ;D
nightwing, do you know anywhere i can buy alot of clint flicks? roger's video only had a few, and i refuse to shop at blockbuster. i'm particularly looking for ones i don't have on vhs first. i haven't seen thunderbolt and lightfoot though i've always wanted to and after reading different posts on it, it has strengthened my resolve to find it. are all or most of the movies even out on dvd yet?
and matt, if you zoomed into porn any closer than the camera already gets, you'd be inside of someone's, how should i say this?, inside their cavity. ;D

amen dambrosia, i've been there and done that just last weekend in fact. it's hell walking the course on no sleep and it was almost a euphoric feeling.
i don't think clint looks bad in the picture, i just think being a senior citizen, he has his pants hiked up almost to his nips and the pic is at a bad angle or something which accentuates the high pants and looks weird.
