General Discussion / Ramon's eyebrow...
« on: June 26, 2004, 02:40:15 PM »
There are parts of "A Fistfull Of Dollars" where you see Gian Maria Volonte in a closeup, like when he first meets Clint.  His left eyebrow has a little break in the hairs, and I've seen this on many people in real life.  Only thing is, everyone I ever saw it on was a low-life, a criminal type, or someone who definately digs the mob.  Is this something?  I'm very curious.

Clint Eastwood Westerns / Josey Wales' Chief Dan George
« on: April 06, 2004, 07:32:38 PM »
How many folks think Chief Dan George was awesome in The Outlaw Josey Wales?  I grew up in Southeast Alaska, and I understand CDG is from around there.  I love his lines and conversation with Clint when they meet!

'...endeavor to persevere...'

'...but it's not for eatin', it's just for looking through!'

Clint definately makes sure the casting is right on the money!

Clint Eastwood Westerns / Puma in Two Mules/Sister Sara
« on: February 07, 2004, 10:27:09 PM »
I must just be dumber than a rock!  No matter how many times I watch Two Mules for Sister Sara, I still don't get the scene where he lights the trail of gunpowder, allegedly to "see" the mountain lion that's supposed to be nearby?!  How the hell would that work?  It might light up the immediate area, but wouldn't that drive the mountain lion deeper into the shadows?  I understand the noise he heard ended up being the small band of needy people, but just what the heck was the gunpowder all about?!!

Clint Eastwood Westerns / Clint a horseman?
« on: February 01, 2004, 12:31:44 AM »
Don't know if this has been asked on this site before or not, but was Clint a horse fan or a rider at all?  I know there was some debate as to whether he was pro-gun or not.  Does he live in California or on a ranch or anything like that?

Clint Eastwood Westerns / Age vs. Plot
« on: January 23, 2004, 08:27:23 PM »
As regards Clint doing more westerns, who thinks he's run out of story lines versus who thinks he's bowing out gracefully?  I posted on another topic that I thought Eastwood against Paul Newman in a story about two old cusses out for each others' blood might make for a great western.

Naturally, we'd give any excuse for more westerns from Clint.
