The Off Topic Forum is here to give Eastwood fans a chance to converse about things that are unrelated to their favorite actor-director, but would be of general interest to most members.
Please take some time to read through the Off Topic Discussion Forum before posting a new topic. The Off Topic Discussion Forum already has many threads about such things as favorite TV shows and movie discussions for the current year, as well as several appreciation threads for particular actors, directors, musicians, etc. There is no need to post a new topic for every new film or TV show that you have seen. Use the
Search function, and you will most likely find you will be able to reply to an existing thread and do not need to create a new one.
Any new topics that are posted that the Moderators feel belong in an existing thread, will be merged into that thread. It is frustrating to do a search on a particular topic and find pages of threads where that topic is mentioned, and it can be time consuming.
Please do try to confine your posts in both new and existing topics to things of general interest to other members of this Forum. You all know how to use e-mail and instant messaging, and many of you are members of other web boards and forums. You don't need to post things here that are better suited for those channels. But if you do have a random thought or stray observation that you simply must share with us, you can always put it in
The Endless, Pointless Thread!
The Off-Topic Discussion Forum is occasionally purged, and when older topics are deleted, members who posted in those threads will see their post counts automatically decrease.
Most of what is written here is already covered in the Board's
Community Standards, which you were required to read when you first registered on the Board.
This Web Board is provided by the generosity of the Webmaster and kept going in an orderly fashion by the hard work of the Moderators, and we are united by one purpose: To make it the best place on the Internet for people to discuss the films of Clint Eastwood. Your co-operation regarding these matters is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
THE CEWB MODERATORS.
