I'm curious: What are your thoughts?

I'm also curious about how you define "shadow lighting" and how it applies to movie cinemaphotography, and specificially to the films of Clint Eastwood.
Well I would define shadow lighting as being a technique used by filmakers in which they conceal or cast a shadow over a certain image in a shot and the  the light that is there is a natural light.  And I think you asked how it aplies to cinematography and specifically clint eastwood films well i think it applies to cinematography because it's such a well known technique that  can be used for different purposes such as  helping make a film look more interesting or dark or it can be used as a means for symbolism and sometimes even used as a vector and I think it applies to clint eastwood films because it's simply one of his trademarks. And because I'm only 15 I obviously haven't seen a bunch of clint's older films in which he might've used shadow lighting but I have seen his more recent ones and I would have to say that million dollar baby displays some shadow lighting as well as unforgiven.

I was just wondering what do you think it is that makes Clint such a unique director or what makes his films unique?
