I just have to say Thank God somebody brought this point up. It has been confusing me for years now. Suddenly the movie makes much more sense .

The quote that gives me the most chills out of Clint's mouth is in "Unforgiven" when he says...

"That's right. I've killed women and children. I've killed just about everything that's walked or crawled at one time or another. And I'm here to kill you Little Bill...for what you did to Ned."

Talk about badass. You can see it in William Munny's eyes that he's back to his old ways, liquored up and all when he delivers this line. Exceptional acting by Clint. I loved the layered quality of the character as the film progresses.

I agree , I could never really put it into words , the "layered quality of the Character" in Unforgiven is spectacular . It's one of the few films that you can actually see the characters development , or more approprietly  the characters regression . a lot of movies have tried & failed to properly do just that . At any rate you are right on the money ,Exceptional acting by Clint.

In my opinion The coolest Eastwood quote, and pretty much the coolest quote of all times is from "Unforgiven" at the end when he goes into town and gets revenge for Ned's death . Here it is .

LITTLE BILL: I'll see you in Hell, William Munny.

MUNNY: Yeah ...

Clint Eastwood is so intense in that scene that I still get the chills every time I watch it.

  Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum, Well actually I've been a member for a while but never posted . Anyway , I was just on the EMF firearms website and they claimed that Clint used a Winchester 1892 rifle in Rawhide. Can anyone confirm that or have a picture you can post. THANKS.
