General Discussion / Re: The Official MEMBER INTRODUCTIONS Thread
« on: September 16, 2004, 07:22:44 PM »
Hey Everyone!! I've been a member since last year but lost my connection till today, but this is my first stop and looking forward to many discussions. I can't remember when I first discovered Clint but it was early in life and I'm so thankful for my parents letting me have a T.V in my bedroom. "The Outlaw Jose Wales" Changed everything!!!! I'd Like to know where I could get a copy of "Gone to Texas" I've looked on E-bay a few times but with no luck. See y'all around

I think another Clint Western would be very interesting to view, but in my opinion, Clint would have to be careful not to repeat himself. I think Unforgiven was a very well done exit from his western stories, but on the other hand, left me still wanting more and almost telling the audience he is refreshed and ready for more action..... Am I the only one or shouldn't Clint get into a role where instead of having other characters reflect back on his "I've killed just about everything that's walked or crawled" days and tell a story where he's a battered old sunnofab*[email protected] who's seen all, done all,and maybe even pay the price at the end..... I'm rambling, and I might not get to many people agreeing with me but.....

Hello, This may be a silly question but, I was wondering if anyone out there has read the novel to "The Outlaw Josey Wales" I believe the book was called "Gone to Texas" Is the novel much different from the movie? I have looked Hi and Low for it with no luck.. I would assume the book has been retired from print. Can anyone suggest where I might get my hands on a copy?

Much Abliged,

Hi everyone, For reasons unknown I just realized after watching the DVD of High Plains Drifter for the 100th time, that in some scenes, there is dubbing on some of the bad language??? Did I purchase a bad copy, Is there copies of the movie without the dubbing?
