I don't know if this counts as a movie, but I finally caught up with a PBS docu about sloths ... yes, sloths ... that I've had on my DVR for months.

http://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/sloth-named-velcro-full-episode/11157/

Fascinating ... and I guarantee some of those shots of cute little sloth faces (especially the babies) will make you go Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

I want one  :)

This was on again this morning again.  I'm glad I had the chance to see most of it this time.  Not sure I'll ever watch the second one again, but who knows?  I can do without it but may go out of my way to watch the entire trilogy from start to finish sometime.

There showing the whole trilogy here in theatres in October perhaps it's the anniversary of the series ? Who knows

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Tom Hanks: Any of you fans of his?
« on: September 07, 2015, 11:21:40 AM »
Nobody likes Tom Hanks?  I'm a little surprised. I think he's one of the best actors of all time. Very cool and unique guy. Some of my favs of his are:  A league of there own, Forrest Gump, Cast Away, Big, Turner and Hooch, Bosom Buddies, Saving private Ryan, and Captain Phillips.

Like him a little, defiantly can't wait for Sully but depends on the trailer and I may go see that new one that was just directed by Speilberg about missiles I believe or something like that

Ya that movie is bittersweet for me. I think that was Robin Wolliams at his best. It's by far my very favorite movie of his. Just a really good made comedy IMO. Very sad that he took his own life. I know he had Parkinson's and all. But still there are some better treatments for it now.  I know there's no cure but it can be some what under control. Look at Michael J Fox. He has dealt with it very admirably.  Robin Williams was ine if the greats that's for sure.

My friend keeps asking what's going to happen with Mrs Doubtfire 2  :'( Nothing cause there's nobody who could replace Robin

Antonis and Smitty are tall fans of Hohn Wayne?  And thanks KC I will defenately check those movies out. Everybody has different likes and dislikes. But I should watch those and see how they appeal to me. I watched the last 30 mins of Cowboys starring John Wayne and a bunch of kids. It came on tv and I watched the last 30 mins with my dad. I really didn't care for that one very much.

Yup a little for me but I prefer Clint over him

That's another great film.  My wife and I saw the play at The Colonial in Boston and it was lots of fun.

Never seen the play hoping too soon, loved the movie and am a huge fan of ABBA, probably one of their youngest fans ever being 22  :o
