Good after-lunch time from the American Midwest-USA:

I have this masterpiece in VHS, LASER DISC, and 2 or 3 DVD issues....I believe it is a love story and it has tough love in it, too..

Just saw the incredible ending again last was on TCM.....yesterday was all CLINT EASTWOOD DAY on TCM...

The ending for me is always so powerful..and that beautiful music lucky we are to have CLINT making movies for us to treasure.....

Thanks for the information.

Good morning from the American Midwest-USA:

I consider myself a great fan of Clint Eastwood's but I have been slow on finding good information like this ....I just want to say thanks for sharing and I'm going to crank up my old Health Rider and get back on track again.....At 68, I know I'm in trouble after reading this.....Everything is in here that I need to know.....The no red meat thing will be tough, though......

Thank you again, for sharing this wonderful information..

Good evening from the American Midwest-USA:

LEE MARVIN....he was great in GORKY PARK...

(Added later:  OOPS!! I forgot about PAINT YOUR WAGON, well now then there)

General Discussion / Re:Sean Penn's performance in Mystic River

Good evening from the American Midwest-USA:

As we watched this great film the second time all we noticed was that it was kind of like watching Robert DeNiro,
the facial expressions, etc.

Well, I'll think about it some more and come back later...Actually, it seems it's got to be OK or Clint would have changed things....I just can't imagine Clint allowing someone to get away with a bad or improper perfomance in one of his finest films....What a thankless job..picking people for a part and then knowing folks are going to start ripping it all up.....Whew!!!

  Well now then there

Good morning from the American Midwest-USA:

   Just a brief comment:

Played all three discs now and found them to be fine..

Watched the movie again, yesterday and I have a funny feeling that it gets even better the more times it gets watched.

I'm just glad to finally get all of it...I think my question about Jimmy and this thug friends future got answered after listening to the 2nd disc of their interviews...I guess most of the answers are in the interviews.....

Gotta keep watching,  this is a doozy!!!

 Tuesday Morning 0915hrs(EDST)

Good after the rain evening from the Midwest-USA:

Received the 3-disc issue in widescreen yesterday....watched the movie and thought it was quite a message about how folks really kid themselves when they fail to tell the truth about things.....We wondered what really happened to Sean Penn's character and those other guys(his thug friends) who seemed to be breaking the law all the time??....

Still have to watch the 2nd disc and maybe the explanation is in there.....

Well, anyway, gotta watch this great movie several more times 'till I start to get all the messages given to us from Clint's great mind....

The long wait for the discs is finally over and now I have something to treasure for a long time.....Thank you Clint Eastwood !!!!!

Good perfect golf morning from the Midwest-USA:

Great news!!  Just hoping the 3-disc, widescreen issue hits the Miami County, OHIO-USA

  Good morning from OHIO-USA:

Thank you for the news about the changes and the need to re-register.   I am not computer oriented, so if there are mistakes I'll try to correct them as time goes by.

I have the DVD for TRUE CRIME and each time I watch it I like it more and more.

Now I'm glad to learn the DVD for BLOOD WORK will be available soon...

This is just a note of thanks and trying to get started with the new format.
