Off-Topic Discussion / Without a Trace with Andy Robinson
« on: March 04, 2005, 04:18:00 AM »
I saw an episode of Without a Trace this week that guest starred Chad Lowe ( Hilary Swank's real life husband ) and Andy Robinson.Who was credited as Andrew.J.Robinson.Any reason why "Scorpio" is now billed this way and is it a recent change? ;)

I always thought it would be nice to have a realiy show where you trapped a family in a house, boarded up the windows and locked the doors and then took a wrecking ball to it and then whoever made it out alive won $25,000.

Now that's something I wouldn't mind seeing. :D

Clint Eastwood Westerns / Re: Paint Your Wagon

I loved him in Coogan's Bluff, when he is making love and they call him "put on your pants and get down here" -- he is so matter-of-fact about sex.  Cool!   ~ Donna Madison

Wasn't that in Magnum Force! ???

I never understood why the Eastwood character was named John Wilson when it's obvious it's John Huston and the making of The African Queen. Also the actors playing Bogie and Hepburn had different names. Was this for legal reasons.I think a lot more people would have seen it knowing it was a sort of behind the scenes look at the making one of the best movies ever.

Here is one thread (of several) where we discussed this. ;)

http://www.clinteastwood.org/forums/index.php?board=4;action=display;threadid=1029

I seem to remember that it was only seen in the widescreen version, while if you saw it on a regular T.V. that part of the shot was cut off.I maybe wrong or I maybe drunk or oh I give up. :D

I like the scene in Magnum force when the co-pilot asks Harry "Can You Fly" and Harry replies "Nope, never had a lesson" and slams on the brakes and everyone in the plane moves about six feet forward with luggage and everything going everywhere.Cracks me up everytime. :D
