"  Roo jumps in on family "   :o

it reminds me a tv show where some guy got attacked by one, it wasnt pretty.

dangerous the kangaroo's are... lol

the 3 first Dirty Harry movies also are my favorites,

about an order of preference, i dont really have one because the first one is classic, i very much like the part where Harry have to go from place to place, i think that part was well tought, and like The Schofield Kid said, both Magnum and The Enforcer are good.

That's The Gauntlet.

by the way, i didnt watch it completly, it was on tv when i catched it and i missed a big enough part of it,
do you think i should rent it first, or is it another classic that i should just buy ?

Lena, your English is fine. I just edited the title so we would know what the thread is about. :)

Can you subscribe to Netflix where you are? I would think that would be a good way to try films before adding them to your permanent collection.

im not sure if i could(i might check it out later), but first, you made me think about something : we have a kind of small dvd's rental depot inside a grocery store that i go to, from what i saw, its just a small place(in a corner of the grocery store), no one works there, so this might be the same or a similar service, im not sure if when ordering a dvd if i would have to go and grab it there, or if they would deliver it to my place, but i think i saw a kind of box or a kind of machine at the place, i guess its for the returns or something like that, ill check it out a little later and ill let you know about it.

i had a hard time to write this paragraph... grrr... lol

i dont mind the editing at all KC, i even appreciate it,
being Canadian french, my english isnt as good as i would like it to be, and i know it shows...:-[, so i really appreciate it :)

also thanks to everyone for your replies !

as i said in my first post, i forgot some movies  :

saw :

(dvd extra "Maverick" Duel at Sundown)
-Heart Break Ridge

i also saw a movie where in a scene, Clint needs to go somewhere(out of a city or something like that) for a reason that i do not remember, and while he is driving a bus, MANY peoples are shooting at him, im not sure which movie title it is.

good news, i bought "The Outlaw Josey Wales" dvd on wenesday *holds it close to her heart* hehe

im keeping your suggestions in mind, some of them im trying to find in video stores since a while now, and im having a hard time to find them...

the thing is that, i preffer to watch movies first before to buy them, that, unless alot of peoples would tell me to buy this movies or that movie because they would know in advance that i would like it or love it for sure.

I guess i could check some of them on Youtube, i checked a part of ''Where Eagles Dare'' on it.

well thats it for now, later  ;)

note : im sorry about the late reply, the reason is that i do not have access to the internet at my place right now because im going to buy a new pc soon, i sold my old one to a friend thats in college and really needed one even if its older, and so for now and maybe for a while, ill only be able to reply on fridays and during the weekend.

Hello everyone,

Canadian french here, im happy to have found your forum, it looks really nice !

Here's my story :

Younger i tought that the old westerns movies would be boring.
One day, as i was watching tv, i stopped on a channel where this old western was playing...
I never had interests into that kind of movies, but then, i realised that i was curious about it, and i decided to give it a chance, you know, to see...
After 5-10 minutes, my reaction to "A Fist Full of Dollars" was something like : "hey.... hey... its cool !".
I watched the rest of the movie and i remember that at the end i just wanted to see more.

Thats how it started.

well i guess thats my intro  ;)
