I voted comedy.
I think its been a while since clint has done a more light-hearted film, and I think it would be great if he directed/starred in a comedy, not exactly like the which way films, but with a more subtle approach, just a light-hearted movie with funny moments :)
But hey-whatever he chooses to do next, ill be waiting in line to get tickets...

lol you can have the drums gant ;D
Im not too awful, but Id rather be a guitarist and leave the drumming to...well to a real drummer :D

it's nice to see that there are a lot of musicians here...maybe we should start a CE tribute band, and play the whole Paint Your Wagon soundtrack ;D -what do you think matt? ;)

I would be more concerned if the title were to be something like "mystic river" or something with more than one word.
It very unlikely that someone would be able to copyright a certain word...for example;if stephen king were to hold the copyright for the word "it" we would all be struggling to form sentences ;) -ok silly example, but my point is , I doubt that its possible to copyright a single word, as it is used in everyday life, whereas if you chose a name like "singing in the rain" you would have a lot more reasons to worry

But if you wanna be 100% certain, id take KC's advice and go check with a lawyer :)

I play a lot of guitar, basically anything from johnny cash to cradle of filth  ;D..I have 3 electric guitars and one acoustic, I like playing on both types...been playing for about 3-4 years now.
Im also a halfway decent drummer, I lerned quite a bit during our jamming sessions with the band

Im also a pretty decent punk-rock or grunge singer but not enough to go for a signing career ;)

so thats pretty much it
cool guitars [email protected], Ill try to post pics of mine someday 8)

Clint is currently married to news anchor Dina Ruiz and lives in Carmel, california .Also I noticed you signed "Kyle" and Clint has a son that has the same name you do ;D
Hope that helps a bit..For info on clint's new project, check the "million dollar baby" thread in the news section :)

Can't wait to see it on the big screen :)

thumbs up clint

Is Steven Seagal todays young Clint Eastwood...?
umm...no! :o

Quote
I should add I'm not a very big fan of martial arts flicks, which obviously influences my opinion. I find it hard to compare Seagal with Eastwood because Eastwood doesn't do martial arts. The character Clint usually plays just isn't the honorable type who throws down his gun to fight hand to hand.

same here. Never been a fan of martial arts, never will be. Im sorry to say, but I think it would be awful to witness a barroom brawl where a guy would start using karate instead of just good ole punching...
As far as seagal..I think terrible would be an appropriate word for his acting.
The text in most of his movies is just plain ridiculous, I dont know if its meant to make him look stupid but it does. Not to mention the horrid wardrobe...
Im sorry...Ive seen about 7 or 8 seagal flicks, and nothing in the world can change my mind when I say hes one of the worst actors Ive ever seen and his movies are some of the longest two hours Ive ever spent in my life

(My apologies to all you seagal fans out there, I know I hate it when someone bashes clint, so I know how you must feel, but I just hate the guy so very much :D)

as far as on deadly ground...you can kick people in the face until theyre bleeding to death, just make sure you dont hurt the trees..oh yeah ::)

"Sea" sick ;D
(Yeah ok, no more lame "seagull" and "sea" jokes, I promise ;))

C'mon Misty, picture him as Harry's new partner.  He would be my favourite partner in the whole series, except maybe Tyne Daley :'(, because I did love their characters chemistry.

Harry needs a partner who is too smart, too tough and too mean>:(  to get killed.

Are you listening Clint?  I'm definitely onto something here 8).

WKC.

:o :o DOnt listen to that clint!! :o
maybe instead of a scorpio, we could have a seagull killer this time? ;)

Anybody but seagal!! :o :o
I think Id rather see vin diesel in the role of harry than having seagal around in a clint flick, even if its only for 5 seconds.
Sorry I cant stand the guy...
 :-\

you know what would be cool though?
To have Penn co-star with clint..Clint I know you like to keep the same actors/crew sometimes, why not stick with Penn? ;)
No really I just thought he was awesome in mystic river, and I think his energy and Clint's would make something fabulous on screen ;D

General Discussion / Re:Clint's 5 WORST movies
« on: January 08, 2004, 06:54:50 AM »
well this is a little on the negative side but hey ;)

Umm..Not having seen "paint your wagon" yet, heres my top 5 clint flicks that I like the least.Note that I dont really think theyre THAT horrible, just a little below the usual Eastwood quality standard ;D

1-Firefox
2-The Rookie
3-City Heat
4-Pink Caddy
5-Dead Pool

Now sorry Firefox fans, I know it sounds a little harsh putting it in first place, but I really didnt like it..One of the only Clint films Ive only watched once actually
As far as the dead pool, I kinda like it actually, it aint so bad, but I needed to fill a space and thats the one that came to mind

Others worth a mention

Heartbreak Ridge (I dont know, it just never grew on me)
Joe Kidd

Good try, Misty. The second clue certainly applies to Dragon. But, that's not who I am.  (Clue #3)

yeah, I read that second clue and I immediatly thought "dragon" so I gave it a shot even though I didnt think he had a famous daughter..um...does this mean I can ask another question?
 :D
Ok in what decade is the film you're reffering too? (clue#4)

or is that too specific for a question? :)

Im pretty bad at trivia, but this one looks fun, so Ill give it a shot

Thayer Davis?
(dragon)
 :)

59
Maybe the scene with Carol...it's not as if it really brought something to the movie, and even then im beeing picky.I think pretty much all the scenes were good

60
As far as the sequels go, I like "the enforcer" more than "magnum force" but then I guess Itc because I just Really Really like "the enforcer" ;)
Magnum force is a great Eastwood film, its funny , entertaining without beeing too over the top and I have to admit that it's ending is waay better than the enforcer's ;)
All in all a really cool film, probably somewhere up there in my top ten, if not, well in my top 15, at the very least  :)
