The Obamas obviously have a large family.....

I rather see Norman Rockwell.

Was watching Fistful Of Dollars and interestingly they had a spaghetti Western that followed called Ace High with Terrance Hill, Bud Spencer and Eli Wallach who sounded and acted like Tuco. I never realized Wallach did another Spaghetti western. This movie came out in 1968

I disagree on Hilary Swank. On the contrary, she won an Oscar for1999's 'Boys Don't Cry'  and was considered an A List actress and a respected one by the time she did Million Dollar Baby.

He was also the Bartender in 1969's Midnight Cowboy. Great actor.

It's not hard to understand at all. It's beyond political....Everyone needs to open their eyes already..

Was watching part of it yesterday and the thing that really stands out are the stock actors Eastwood employed over the years. William O'Connell really was a hidden gem. Even a guy like Dan Vadis who Eastwood must had known beforehand while both were in Europe in the 60's and guys like Jphn Quade, Roy Jenson, Bill Mckinney and Greg Walcott were very underrated. I had forgotten James McEeachin was in the movie. I guess you have to laugh at the fact that Ruth Gordon who was a great stage and film actress as well as a playwright was in this movie and the sequel..

Don Siegel was a very wise man.

Not a fan of the movie though I like the first hour which is pretty funny and Locke is quite good out of all the roles she ever did with Eastwood. Pauline Kael was a panorama of blowhard negligent stupidity.

Part of the attraction is the political climate that has been going on the past few years and the ramifications of how beyond shallow the media has become. As of this moment lawyer  L. Lin Wood is in the midst of big time lawsuits for on behalf of the late Jewell. It's a pretty sad and grim story in many aspects. Personally, I rather see other actors than Hill and Dicaprio if this ends up being Eastwood's next movie.

If you look like Diana Krall it might........

I watched that the other day. I don't know whats more upsetting seeing a 25 year old Eastwood playing a silly role or seeing a great actress like Ginger Rogers by then doing a schlock movie like that in 1956... Ginger was still smoking looking in that movie...

Well, I finally saw The Mule......I thought it was a good movie and Eastwood was damn good in it. I guess it's hard to look at Eastwood playing such a vulnerable character after all these years. We never think our heroes will ever be 88,but Eastwood nailed it. The movie was pretty much what I expected from a technical standpoint and Diane Wiest was very good. My only complaint which isn't really that big a deal is I thought the movie could had been 10-15 shorter, but no biggie.  Would I rate this as one of Eastwood's top 10 movies?..No...But, it doesn't have to be. I'm still trying to figure out after seeing the movie what exactly the phony pc movie critics were scathing about, but it was obvious. Anyone can read through these clowns. Eastwood is the King of Hollywood of all time. No one is even close. That's what it's really about. It's either this or another Marvel comic movie. I'll choose an 90 year old real life story any day........

If I was doing that list today I would have to change a few things. Gran Torino is a 4.... every close to a 5..

AKA23..I haven't seen The Mule yet. I plan on seeing it in the next few weeks. I'll give my opinion after that.....

OUATITW is a very good movie. My only problem with it is it drags a little in the middle. Eastwood would had been good in it and it would had been interesting to see him with Henry Fonda who pretty much has the best role in the film, though Claudia Cardinale is quite yummy in the film and nice to look at.......

Do any of you in your heart of hearts really think or believe Eastwood or The Mule was going to be nominated for anything? What you are dealing with is a completely different and moronic environment in the Hollywood and media circles today from years ago..... It's pretty disturbing. To me, Eastwood made a movie @ 88 and against all odds ( including my original thoughts) and the movie ended a BO hit and that's enough. What he did was astounding. I doubt the man really cares about nominations and I certainly feel that is vindication..... Hollywood is one big bull---- place...

Was watching The Gauntlet yesterday ( Yeah..... I was.. ) and like I always said Locke was really good in it. The first hour of that movie is very funny and well paced and then the movie just becomes too ridiculous and over the top where It didn't have to be. But Locke was damn good in the movie........

The Mule @ $91, 310.00 as of today which makes it a month since it's release. Has a good chance to get to the 100 mill mark by the weekend. I promise AKA I will go see the movie. I don't want to get yelled at.......
