Just received the September issue.
It seems that the editors are planing a companion issue to the Dollars Trilogy special.
They announce a special issue entitled "The American Westerns of Clint Eastwood" for spring 2015.

Maybe Mike can enlighten us a bit.

If I'm correct this concept was originally meant to be a book...

I don't know the details either yet, I'm always a bit behind. Just watched TRUE GRIT (Coen) this summer for the first time, if you know what I mean regarding 'being behind'.

But it's gonna be fantastic, that's for sure. We have so many great photos...
Maybe some fellow collector's here will contribute some rare images as well?

Sorry.
No link yet.
I found the above information at the latest issue of the mag (no 32/May 2015).
Suppose we'll have to wait for the mag's site.

So pleased this is finally coming out. I had a tiny bit of involvement so I've been waiting very patiently.

Sounds like a cool book! And I don't mind that they're including Paint Your Wagon as one of them. I wouldn't ordinarily include that, but I guess it is a western musical comedy.

O0  What sort of involvement?

I just helped out with some of Clint's props and also the original painting for the High Plains Drifter poster art. As you'd expect from the guys at Cinema Retro - this will be another beautiful publication.

Anybody else ?
Still amazed by the unused Bill Gold poster artwork.
Especially the Unforgiven ones.

I may not be posting this in the correct place, please forgive me.  Mods, if this belongs elsewhere, please advise.  Thank you.

The latest Eastwood special edition is now out.  I wasn't going to bother but decided to keep my copy of the Cinema Retro issue of the Leone trilogy along with this one.  I'm sure it will be a great read.

Thanks KC, I very much appreciate that.  I've persued through this magazine and it's tough putting down.  I'm going to have to attempt to set aside some time to scrutinize further and begin reading this fantastic issue.
