Watched Taxi Driver the other day and noticed in one scene where De Niro is getting back to his cab that there`s in other side of the street  quite a big advertisement of the Eiger Sanction that also includes Eastwood`s name.

On an episode from the second season of 3rd Rock From The Sun, Dick(John Lithgow) is sitting at the kitchen table reading the book,The Bridges Of Madison County.

He is pleading for Francesca to go to Robert. He then turns the page and screams "Damn, I hate it when the book doesn't end the way you want it to."

I guess you could Waller in it if you wanted to referring to the ending.

Another in the long line of internet polls, this time on favorite lines from the movies.

Quote
The poll of 10,000 film fanatics was conducted by global market research company www.onepoll.com.

The line "Do you feel lucky, punk" spoken by Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry (1971) takes fourth place.

Did anyone catch the reference in that bad pun? If not , I failed in a humerous attempt.

In the scene where 'Ed Harris' enters 'Viigo Mortensen's' cafe - in the movie 'A History Of Violence' - he(Ed Harris) tells his goons,'Let's leave before he gets all 'Dirty Harry' on us.' ;)

Hi! I'm 'Russel D'silva' from 'India'. My nickname is 'Daredevilkid'. Clint Eastwood to me is the greatest actor ever and one of the greatest directors ever. Besides being an 'icon' & a 'living legend', he is also a fantastic human being - & I don't need to meet him to know this.

Kim must be a Clint fan! :D

EDIT: And there's one more in the series ...

The Outlaw Demon Wails
I noticed this one has been released, which the above quoted post does include the info that it was to come out in March. I think some of her books would be fun to check out at some point when I have time.

In that case add Hot Fuzz as well. when Simon Pegg looks at the video stand at the gas station he's in before heading back to clean up the town western style, you can see a Dirty harry dvd.

All right, maybe I'm hallucinating ... I seldom watch commercial TV other than for baseball games. But I'm watching a movie on a channel that shows commercials and I could have sworn I heard the theme from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly ... in a commercial for Pillsbury crescents?  :D
