Thanks AKA. As someone who worked in the aviation industry I'm looking forward to seeing the film and the behind the scenes interviews that will likely be on the DVD.

Well I was attempting to be vaguely humorous in calling it a review... :)

The interview was with Simon Mayo on a podcast of the film review show he co-hosts with film critic Mark Kermode..
Hanks actually told quite a funny story about Meeting up with Clint to view their new film...

Can you give us a link to the podcast, Gant? :)

I found this on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wh-azBAKhs4

The "Sully" part starts at about 10:30. Hanks does a pretty good Clint imitation.

A recent BBC video interview with Hanks, where he also talks about Sully and meeting Sullenberger, is here (Sully part at about 3:40)

Funny stuff -- Hanks describing getting an actual "Go ahead, make my day" expression from Clint, and wondering if he said something that's about to get him shot.

Both interviews are pretty amusing. Thanks for posting that, KC. TI like Tom Hanks description of fact based stories being translated into film "I will say things you never said, I will do things you never did, but given that, I want to be as truthful as possible." That's funny stuff as well.

It's quite a good show, I listen weekly..
I wouldn't say they're overtly biased towards Clints movies but they usually give his films decent and intelligent reviews...
As a first.... I'll try and post a link when they review Sully...  :)

Hanks is certainly of the best movie promoters for anything he is in, on talk shows, interviews, etc...He always brings his charisma A-game.

Dan Dassow, I'd be curious to hear your opinion of the movie after its released as someone in the know.

Cool, definitely looking forward to seeing the trailer for this. I am looking forward to it, but I feel the trailer could make me look forward to it more. Hopefully that's the case.

Sully is prominently featured in a banner ad on many IMDb pages including the IMDb home page.
