I like this thread and since there's no shortage of images for a while, I'll keep posting. I'm glad to see others jump in here. Keep them coming! I lived in Florida for 15 years, and had never seen the state capital, Tallahassee, until last year when I took an alternate route from Nashville to the Naples area. I was surprised to not see a city at all, but instead, a beautiful National Forest visible from I-10, which runs straight across the panhandle. I parked and hiked along the highway, trying to find a subject. I got pictures of trees, but I was frustrated because I couldn't find any focal point that really stood out, and I needed to get back on the road. I finally found this little fence, and decided it would do. It was November (last year) and the leaves were turning their autumn colors. I like this picture quite a bit. I wish I had more time to have explored the Forest and gone inside and really spent a few hours there. Maybe next time.
