Looking good, Jed.  I haven't traveled anywhere lately to do any special photography. But, there's so much to photograph without even leaving town. I photographed the birds in my front porch nest every morning to see the changes each day brings. They left the nest this morning. I had just taken this last one yesterday -- testing the wings.

Now that they're gone, I was going to pull the nest down and clean that area. But, a friend said the breeding Finches may not be done for the season, so I'll hold off until Fall.

Here's a shot I took tonight in the garden of my building with my phone camera. I find I can get much better pictures with it by using the Pro mode. There are only a few settings you can adjust, but they really help. (I have a low-level Samsung Galaxy.)

Say hello to Scooter Cooper.  We adopted him for a friend of Tinaís yesterday whoís moving and didnít want him placed in a shelter.  Heís hypoallergenic so thatís perfect for me since Iím allergic to cats & dogs.  I took these yesterday with my phone.

Very nice! I never played around to find there's a pro mode (I have a Samsung Galaxy also).  I'm sure that will help -- I've always gotten pretty sub-par photos with my camera. Great tip.

These little terriers always look so happy. Maybe that's because God loves a terrier.

Thanks, Matt. Here's a couple more phone cam pix I've gotten lately:

"Manhattanhenge" effect on June 12, near Columbus Circle:

A bit past the peak Manhattanhenge days, on June 25, West 40s:

Midday, overhead shot in Union Square Park, June 16:

Finally (no pro effects on this one) ... what could be cooler than a pit bull in shades? (Today, Seventh Ave. and 51st)

PS, that reminds me ... Cute pup, Jed. :)

Nice! That last one reminds me of when my mother (an art teacher) was teaching me about perspective.  Not much traffic on those tracks, I reckon?
