Just a guess, I've never seen The Cowboys, but Bruce Dern costars with Wayne in that, and Dern and Clint get into a fight in Hang 'em High ... could that be it? ???

I saw The Cowboys when if was released but I can't remember if Dern
and Wayne tussle... if they do then that's another one...

McLaglen was a boxer in real life and has a huge fight scene with John Wayne in "The Quiet Man", which I remember.

He was apparently also in a Rawhide episode with Clint.
