With Sully opening this week, it's time to get our traditional "members' comments" threads started.

We welcome all thoughts and comments and even full-fledged reviews of the film, but please... NO SPOILERS IN THIS THREAD. If you feel that what you want to say about the film may spoil it for those who haven't yet seen it, then please post in our SPOILERS thread for Sully.

I was wondering if any aussie fans would see the Fathers Day advance screening today. Glad you enjoy it Zetec51 and welcome to the board.

I'm watching youtube interviews with Clint, Hanks, Eckhart, Linney... These are great. Fun time preparing for tonight. I never really saw any interviews with Hanks before. He's a funny guy. :)

My husband had talked with his boss about this film. The boss told that he has a friend who's a pilot for Finnair, and he had said that only one in a thousand pilots could do what Sullenberg did. Fun fact. Sullenberg said in one those interviews that landing in water wasn't practiced at training, it was taught only in theory.

I finally watched "Sully" at the end of November!!
It was more than my expectations! I watched with many interest because I had ignored all the stories after the accident!
I was completely stuck to the seat of the theater, just myself as a member of the passengers of that plane!!
Theme music of Eastwood was also very nice!  :)
And I agree.......next will be in July!!
