I search (almost daily) on several used book websites, and sometimes on eBay. There is a company in the UK specialising in film tie ins but they tend to be more expensive than most. In the UK there is a small town called Hay-on-Wye with about 20 or 30 bookshops. I found Absolute Power (mint) and Paint Your Wagon (mint). The latter cost me just 90 pence!! I couldn't see last image in previous postings. I'll have to see which cover I have on mine!! I also found Kelly's Heroes, recently that was a nice surprise as it was on my 'rare' list. I am told that Buddy Van Horn wrote 'Dead Pool'...it was listed on a website I use. I hope it's true as I intend to go back and buy it!

Philo, I'm not seeing it now.
I saved the image last night when it was showing up, and I just put it on my site. Until things get worked out for you ... I'll post it here for you.
I hope you can figure out what's going on with your site, and get things worked out.

Yep, I can see the third book cover image now. Probably my favourite of the three. Mine is definitely the black cover, in fact it's in better condition than I thought. I spent years looking for Thunderbolt & Lighhtfoot, then stumbled across two copies. I have them both still. Also two copies of High Plains Drifter and Bridges of Madison County. Maybe one day I'l' auction the lot, then start searching again....but on second thoughts, I'd be about 70 by the time I got this far!!

raimius, did you find a copy of
Bridges
that's a tie-in? I have one, but it's a German-language edition. I've never seen it in English ...

I bought both of my used copies of
Bridges
in the UK, one from a web-based seller and one in a 2nd hand book shop in Hay-on-Wye (well worth a visit). I will probably auction the second copy (V.good Condition) on Ebay soon. I must make a correction to my previous message about Dead Pool. I checked again to see of this book was still for sale...and now I see that the seller has altered the details and added
VHS video
to the description, with Van Horn as ? director/producer. So, it looks like it's a video for sale not a book, and I'm still none- the- wiser for knowing if there was a paperback at all. Sorry to have raised hopes for you collectors out there...I'm just as miffed.

I found a copy of the Magnum Force tie-in and paid $5(Canadian) for it, which is worth it since I'm assuming its rare. I also have the tie-ins of The Rookie, Pale Rider, and Sudden Impact.
