I'm not familiar with the term broadcloth, but if you're asking if the item looks like it was knitted and made with a yarn like fabric, then I'd say no.

I actually was thinking of two films but one of them was indeed Million Dollar Baby. Do you want to post a screenshot and I can let you know if its the one that I was thinking of?
