WOW !!!

Not quite sure what to say about this one..I certainly dont want to spoil it for anyone..
I can see echo's of The Shining in it... It's a horror for sure, but a whole lot more than that. Fantastic acting and at times quite disturbing... second half doesnt quite live up to first.. but its still a very very good film..

One of those films your still thinking about days after you've seen it.. whether you want to or not !

That one certainly looks freaky. I'd probably have bad dreams about that little girl making that clicking (or clucking?) sound. ;D

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Not that good...

I didn't mind it. I've watched all five films over the last few weeks. My wife hadn't seen any of them and they were a little "intense" for her. She much prefers rom coms or period pieces.

The films are getting a little stale though. Did anyone else stick around till after the final credits and see that 10 second clip of what we can expect from the next installment. That's a little idiosyncrasy of mine when I see a film in the cinema. I have to wait until that MPAA certificate number comes up before I leave my seat.

I also often do that, but usually only for movies that I enjoy. Its my way of paying my respects to those lesser known faces who otherwise receive no recognition for their role in the making of a film.

I saw Ant-Man and the Wasp today and liked it a lot. The first one is among my favorite Marvel movies, and this one is a lot of fun too.

^ That definitely makes me want to see it, antonis. ;D  I enjoyed the first Escape Plan, so I was curious about this anyhow.

I saw this as well and didnt really liked it either. I wasnt a huge fan of the first film, but it was far better than this sequel. This movie had a very weak story. It seems like they just made it hoping to capitalize on the success of the first movie rather than because they had a story arc that they wanted to complete. I actually was more interested in seeing the ant man movie, but I have MoviePass and didnt feel it was worth the extra $5 due to the surge pricing they applied because it was a popular movie to see at that time. This was the only movie playing at the same time, so I decided to give it a shot.

You pay more to see more popular movies?! Is that part of MoviePass?

When I signed up, it was $10 a month amd you could see a movie per day. Within the past couple of weeks, since they are in debt, they added surge pricing, so in addition to the monthly fee, they now charge a surcharge depending on the movie, the location, and how in demand the movie is at the time. The fee can vary based on those factors. You can avoid it by just seeing a different movie or the same movie at a different day and time. Its annoying, since thats not how it ran originally, but movies here are $15 a ticket, so Im still saving money, and as a result, am willing to deal with it.

I saw this with one of my movie buddies this past Tuesday.  They seem to be running out of ideas.  The story wasn’t as good as the previous few prequels, but still plenty of action.  If anything, more action than ever.

Some of this was filmed at the top of my street, caused quite a bit of traffic chaos.. :(
