I love your enthusiasm, but I'm not sure we need the periodic updates of how many views the trailer has gotten over time. I like that it keeps going up though!

Since this trailer didnt show very much, do you guys think there will be another one released? Or, do you think its part of the marketing strategy to keep audiences in the dark and wanting more?

I thought the trailer showed enough really... I don't like these trailers that feel like they're showing half of the movie..

I agree.  I've seen trailers that actually show the final scenes of a movie.  I like what AKA suggested in that the trailer showed just enough to make audiences wanting to know what is going to happen.  I saw the trailer in the theater last week (seeing Bad Times at the El Royale) which I think is interesting that an Eastwood trailer would be shown in theaters this much in advance.

According to Twitter, Dr. Arturo Sandoval has composed the score for "The Mule." It should be recording October 30-31st. He appears to be an acclaimed jazz musician. Is anyone familiar with his work?

I wrote the score for this great film, I'm so happy and grateful for this opportunity, may God bless you, Clint Eastwood

According to The Ranker (which is a vote-based website), Arturo Sandoval is the greatest trumpeters of all time. Gee!

Yeah, they misspelled the name of the great band leader of the Johnny Carson Tonight show (Severinsen)

Any predictions for the running time ?
My guess is around 130 minutes as ordinary.

Since most of Eastwood's movies are around 2 hours, I'd guess around that time, but there's no way to predict this from the information that we have. "Gran Torino" was 1 hr 56 minutes and "The Judge," the other movie that Schenk wrote, was 2 hr 21 minutes. I would expect this would be longer than Eastwood's last two directorial efforts, which were around 1.5 hrs, since that is quite short for Eastwood. Without seeing how long the script is, there's really no way to answer this question.

This has been apparently been Rated R for language throughout and brief sexuality/nudity.

I have also heard that a tv spot for this aired during a baseball game yesterday, but am not able to find it online yet. Did anybody see this? How was it, and what did they show?

Arturo is great ... I have a few of his CDs and I saw him live about 15 years ago. Awesome Latin Jazz trumpeter, plays some piano too, probably other instruments. Should be interesting to see what he comes up with for the score.

Andy Garcia played Arturo in the 2000 biopic For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story (a pretty good movie, as I recall), so I wonder if that's how Clint made the connection.
