Hi Paul, the author posted about this book in this Forum while he was in the process of getting it ready to be published. You'll find that thread here:

http://www.clinteastwood.org/forums/index.php?topic=5107.0

It was finally published in 2016, but was available only through the German Amazon site:

https://www.amazon.de/Behind---scenes-Sergio-Leones-Good/dp/3000404767/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1462888061&sr=1-2&keywords=sergio+leone

That link now says it isn't available at present. Perhaps if you PMd the author through this site he could get a copy for you?

Peter's book is now out of print and not an easy one to find second hand,
everyone seems to be holding on to their copy, from memory the book was
around 65 euros  new from Amazon.de i did see one a while back on Amazon
market place they were asking close to $200 for it,so if you can find one it
probably won't be cheap.
Over on the spaghetti western forum a while ago another member  had contacted
Peter about obtaining a copy and was told by him that it was now OOP with no
plans to reprint it.

Thanks for the information, Mario. I'm sorry to hear it.

I searched Bookfinder.com (my go-to source for out of print books) without success. I then checked WorldCat.org, to see if any UK libraries held it. Alas, there are only four copies recorded in libraries anywhere: Three in Germany, and the U.S. Library of Congress, in Washington, D.C.

Very excited to report that I now have a copy of this book!

It took ages for one to come up for sale anywhere (aside from one on eBay @ £350!) but patience and perseverance paid off. The book came from America and after an anxious 33 day wait postie turned up with it yesterday. Itís Slightly battered and damaged but, given the scarcity of the book, I canít really grumble too much (i paid less than £30 so a bargain all things considered).

Am currently reading Fraylingís massive book on OUATITW so will finish that first before moving on to Hanleys amazing book. :)
