I recently picked up the tweed jacket shown in the attached images, which I was told was worn by Clint in one of his films. There really isn't any documentation, however the source that I acquired it from gets a lot of studio wardrobe on a regular basis, and is quite reliable.  I would appreciate any input that any forum members may have as to what film this suit/sports jacket may be from.

Thanks for any assistance!

Well, the labelling looks suspect for a start. If Eastwood's name needed to be added internally, it would likely have a change number or scene reference noted. In addition, looks like that was written yesterday.

So without even going on a search, the alarm bells are ringing.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

For what it's worth, the J.J. Cochran trademark was filed in January 1986, so if that really was worn in an Eastwood movie, that narrows the field considerably.

1990, but that jacket looks wrong for it to me. Would Eastwood's longtime costume supervisor, Deborah Hopper, have put him in a 1980s-1990s jacket in a movie set in the 1950s?

Having said that, I checked ... costumes for White Hunter, Black Heart were actually credited to John Mollo, not Deborah Hopper. But I still think the look is wrong, and the period certainly is.
