I haven't seen this posted here yet, so wanted to let everyone know that Warner Bros. plans to re-release six of Eastwood's films in theaters in celebration of his 50th anniversary as a director this Fall. Warners is also planning to release a new nine part documentary on Eastwood and his films in early November.

Quote
This fall in select theaters, Warner Bros. will re-release six of Clint Eastwood?s classic films theatrically, each one paired with an episode from the docuseries that highlights the feature film. The films include ?American Sniper,? ?Gran Torino,? ?Dirty Harry,? ?The Outlaw Josey Wales,? ?Unforgiven? and ?The Bridges of Madison County.?

Warners is also planning on doing an exhibition on Eastwood in Dallas, beginning in a couple of days, which will include props and other memorabilia from various Eastwood films.

Quote
From October 6 through November 29, WarnerMedia will launch Clint Eastwood ? A Cinematic Legacy in Dallas, TX., an exhibition of props and costumes from 50 years of filmmaking at Warner Bros. along with memorabilia from Clint Eastwood?s personal collection. Items include the Gran Torino car from the 2008 film ?Gran Torino,? boxing gloves from 2004?s ?Million Dollar Baby,? Bradley Cooper?s costume from 2014?s ?American Sniper,? the saxophone from 1988?s ?Bird,? Clint Eastwood?s director?s chair, and much more. The exhibition runs from October 6 until November 29 at the AT&T Global Headquarters Showcase located at 208 S. Akard St, Dallas, TX 75202.

More detail on all of this can be found in the below press release from Warners.

I'm definitely going to look out for Dirty Harry in theaters. And those various parts of Clint Eastwood: A Cinematic Legacy are currently on HBO Max. I'm guessing that's the same thing that's mentioned here.

Christopher, I'd love to watch this documentary, but I don't have HBO Max :( Has anyone seen this? What did you think?

I've seen "Unforgiven," "Dirty Harry" and "American Sniper" in theaters, so I probably won't go again. "Bridges of Madison County" isn't one of my favorites, and I don't think it would really benefit all that much from being seen on the big screen either. Of the ones being re-released, I'd be most interested in seeing "The Outlaw Josey Wales," as I've never seen that in theaters, and possibly also "Gran Torino," since I really do like that movie. So, if those come to my area, they'd probably be the ones that I'd want to check out.

Yeah, I've seen Gran Torino, American Sniper, and Unforgiven in the theater. If I was going to choose one from the list that I haven't seen at a theater, it'd be Dirty Harry, but The Outlaw Josey Wales would be a good one to watch on the big screen too.

From the list, Dirty Harry for sure(Great cinematography from Don Siegel and fantastic music)  and Unforgiven(never seen in a  movie theater...) :'(
Outside the list, for the cinemascope and great action, The Gauntlet and Palerider :D

And shame on you Aka23 !!! Bridges of Madison County not one of your favorite ? I know why, you' re ashamed to be seen crying in public...   ;D ;)

I cried after the Becky Jacklin character died in Tightrope. I bought a whole case of popsicles after seeing that movie.
