Just curious has Eastwood actually said this will be his final film?  I know hes in his 90s but he has said in the past he wants to keep making movies at 100 yrs of age. Just not sure why there saying its his last film if he hasn?t himself said it is.

No, he has not said that. However, due to his age, and the reported difficulties he experienced getting a new film funded due to leadership changes at Warner Bros., it may be his last film. I think that's more likely than not. I don't know that Eastwood is the type of guy to announce in advance that he was planning to retire, so he may never confirm that. I wouldn't be surprised if no official announcement from him is made.

Thats good to hear. I know hes in his 90s now and sad thst Warner bros is treating him like thst. But Im glad he hasnt said this is it. I know Cry Macho is not a great movie. But I enjoyed it for what it is. I actually thought it had some good moments. Juror #2 looks like it?s going to be a good one. And looks like hes listed as part of the cast. If he is acting in it hopefully hes got a big part in it. If he acts again I would love to see him go out on a strong note acting wise. Cry Macho while fun at times for me id like to see him end on a better movie as far as acting. Like Clint and Scott acting together in a comedy cop type movie. With Clint being a retired cop of course helping Scott or something like that. Just like to see Clint act in one more movie thats great enough to end on. Thst would be cool.

Hi Rawhide. Thank for your interest in this. With respect to what has been reported, a lot of your questions are answered in the article that begins this thread. While he hasn't personally confirmed it's his last film, it is being internally referred to as his last film by the studio. Also, he also hasn't confirmed he is acting in it, but the article does mention that they've added a supporting character to the script and changed the ages of some of the characters. The IMDB does list him as part of the cast, but anyone can update IMDB, so we don't actually know if that's accurate. I think some may be reading this into the article, since why else would he want a supporting character added to the script, if it wasn't for him to play that character, but that has not been confirmed yet.

Is it possible he couldn?t get funding for a previous project because the studio just didn?t rate the material.. that might
not mean he won?t get funding for future projects.. and maybe the studio are happy to let people think this might be Clint?s last film
in order to drum up some pre release interest in it?
If Clint?s healthy and continues to present  good and interesting scripts why wouldn?t the studio be interested..

I'm a big fan of "24", so I like that Kiefer Sutherland will be in this. I also think that Kiefer Sutherland is a very Eastwoodian type of actor. His acting style is quite similar to Clint himself. He usually is a man of few words who packs a strong intensity and he often plays heroic, lone wolf type roles.

Even though IMBD continues to list him as part of the cast, I'm beginning to doubt that Clint will be in this, as none of the official reports from "Variety" "Hollywood Reporter" etc. are mentioning it, and I would think him having a supporting role would be a prominent selling point, if true, especially when many are reporting this to be his "last film".

Kiefer Sutherland will play the role of Nicholas Hoult's sponsor at Alcoholics Anonymous. this is a whole new side and aspect to the story which I'm sure enriches the story regarding its charactor development and its moral dilemma. Usually the church or a priest takes this task in Eastwood universe. Kiefer is pure addition of quality.

More potential casting news. While this guy is close to unknown to the general public, I've seen "Night Agent" on Netflix and I did like his portrayal of his character in his starring role in the show.

Juror #2 filming would take place in Savannah, Georgia, from mid-June to mid-August.
The Mule and Richard Jewell were basically shot at the same dates.

More casting news: Leslie Bibb will play an other member of jury.
I do not know her but she appeared in the first two Iron Man films.

i'M lOVING IT. Gabriel Basso was a total eye-catching new-born star in Netflix's The Night Agent and if he appears in this one, it would be a hell of a charisma loaded project with Collette, Sutherland, and Hoult already loaded and ready to shoot.

"Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" was taking place (and shot) in the same place . One of my favourites.
