Wolfgang Petersen saw this kind of old-fashioned romance. They're from completely different schools and have to come to terms with that... or not. Their relationship has a very 1940s feel to it.

Do you agree that the romance between Horrigan and Raines has an old-fashioned feel to it? What do you think of the chemistry between Eastwood and Russo? Does the romance seem believable to you? Does it fit in well in the film, or does it seem to drag the action of the film down too much?

I thought it was a great romance and very well played between both of them...Even from the get go when Frank ribs her a little in the oval office you can tell they start careing for each other right away...

Good chemistry between the two..
