A little something to note:
Christopher, it isn't uncommon at all to have music in the trailer that is made for the purposes of specifically the trailer and that doesn't even appear in the film. Just for recent examples, I don't think that
Absolute Power ,
True Crime ,
Space Cowboys (other than the N' Sync song) or
Blood Work actually had the music that was in the trailers in the films. I don't know why they do this, but for some reason it's done.

Often times, I think the music that is in the trailer is good, and it's a shame it isn't in the film. However, I suppose the trailer and the film are evoking a different kind of mood and so that's probably why trailer music is often not in the film itself, especially in Eastwood trailers where Eastwood often likes to have very slow, subtle scores, and the music in the trailers is often meant to try to create an atmospehere of anticipation and suspense often being up tempo or not in the subtle vein of music that Eastwood likes.
Blood Work , however, is a bit noteworthy. It had hardly any music at all!
