You are absolutely right, mgk!

Here's the REAL Jeter* ... celebrating on the field as Aaron Boone's home run gave the Yankees the victory over the Red Sox in the 11th inning of Game Seven of last year's American League Championship Series ...  ;)

*No disrespect to Michael Jeter, who was a courageous man, intended. But ... Derek means more to me!  8)

That is correct, vik ... the Critics' Choice awards will be broadcast live at 8 PM ET on "E." I posted an item about it in the News forum, here. Thanks for reminding us.

Yours has to be Peter Swan in The Dead Pool, who's connected to the "Dead Pool" list ... and he's played by Liam Neeson, who's connected to another list, namely Schindler's ... he starred as Oskar Schindler in Spielberg's 1993 Schindler's List.

Hey, it was very well directed graphic crap! ;)

OK, new one:

1) (actor) I played the wives of two philanderers in Eastwood films.

2) (actor) On stage, I once played one of the most famous roles in theater history ... that was written for a man.

You were 100% correct, Gant! Venora also played Hamlet's mother, Gertrude, in the 2000 film version (updated to the present time) directed by Michael Almereyda.

It took me a bit of brooding, but I think I figured it out ...

You're Laura Linney. You played a lawyer (and Clint's character's daughter) in Absolute Power; and several years previously, you were one of the stars of the offbeat mini-series Tales of the City, and your landlady, played by Olympia Dukakis, turned out to be a "transgendered person" at the end ... ;)

By the way, you looked very fetching last night ... ;)

Absolutely correct KC.  ;D

Thankyou for the compliment... just something I threw on at the last minute.  ;)

(Great pic) Clint looks in fine shape....

Your up.

That's right, Brendan, but do you know what the first clue is referring to?  ???

I'm not very Jeff Daniels literate, but I'll take a guess and say it refers to his theatre days?  ???

Nope ... it was another movie. I'll give you another hint ... in it, he was fictional, but his lady friend didn't mind. "You can't have everything!"  ;D ;)

Wouldn't he be fictional in every movie he's done?  :-\ :P :D

But the only movie I can think of is Pleasentville. If that ain't it, then I'm lost.  ;)

In one, he's more fictional than in others ... Does anyone else know the answer to this? Dannyman?  ;)

But go ahead and post a new one, Brendan ... it's not part of the rules that you have to find the "answer" to both clues, so you won fair and square!  :)
