Hello everyone, i just discovered this website a few days ago, and i think it's brilliant that we can use this forum to pay tribute to the actors of such great films that we will never see the likes of again. Anyway, here's my question(s): being a bit of a "newbie" towards the backgrounds etc of the actors, i thought id better ask if it was just me, or was Angel Eyes (Lee Van Cleef) in 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly' missing the tip of a finger ? If he was, does anyone know how this happened and what was Leone's view about this ? Also, in 'for a few dollars more', when Lee Van Cleef is about to shoot his first outlaw, there is a long barreled pistol/revolver alongside his other weapons on the weapon satchel attached to his horse, what type of pistol/revolver was this ?

Thank You Very Much For Your Time.

And here is the thread in which we discussed "Mortimer's BIG gun" ... a Colt "Buntline Special."

How much is he paying you for murdering me?
Five hundred dollars.
Here's a lot of money, one thousand dollars.
Thousand dollars,....some in gold. A tidy sum, But you know when I'm paid I always see the job through!

Angel Eyes to Baker:
Oh I almost forgot, he paid gave me a thousand dollars. I think he wanted me to kill you.
Baker: Ha Ha Ha.
But you know that when I'm paid I always see the job through.
No......Angel Eyes!

I love the spaghetti westerns.
