Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

Looks like someone may have hacked or pulled off email from this board to send a virus via e-mail and make it look like it came from me (or the administrator/site).

I just got the following message sent to my very own email account:

Quote
Dear user of Clinteastwood.org,

Our antivirus software has detected a large ammount of viruses outgoing
from your email account, you may use our free anti-virus tool to clean up
your computer software.

Advanced details can be found in attached file.

Yours,
    The Clinteastwood.org team                 http://www.clinteastwood.org

Whatever you do - do NOT open the attachemnt that comes with this email if indeed you get this e-mail. It did not come from this site or myself. It is a virus and should be deleted immediately.

Don't people have better things to do with their time?

Thanks for the heads up Cal.

For anyone who thinks they might have installed it, or just want to search their system for viruses anyways, you can go here for a free anit-virus program.

Just a note, you should never open attachements in your e-mail anyway. Unless you absolutley know who they're coming from and they notify you just before they're sending it.

Some people steal cars for kicks, other people hack and  program virus's kicks. They are pathetic!
