You're not an idiot, and Sudden Impact.  ;)

You can hear the sound file right on this site. Just go to

http://www.clinteastwood.net/audio5.html

... and look for "day.rm" ... Enjoy! ;)

Just for asking you win...a new complete quote from Sudden Impact (one of the best, in my opinion) 8)

Harry: Well, we're not just gonna let you walk out of here?
Robber: Who's we sucker?
Harry: Smith and Wesson and me.

I don't recall anything like that in Blood Work , Marlana. What was it that you feel is similar? Do you remember the particular line?

Marlana - if you watch the movie again, look for  where Eastwood says, "Make my day" or something similar to that and let us know where in the movie he says it.  We'd like to know, too.  Okay?

Hi mgk.  What's funny is I think there's another cop movie where the main character says "make my day" and it came out before Sudden Impact!  The name of the movie is "Vice Squad" and it came out in 1982.  It stars Season Hubley, Gary Swanson & Wings Hauser.

I remember seeing Vice Squad years ago.  I don't remember it well enough to recall anyone saying "Make my day" in it but you most certainly could be right.  And, if so, that's interesting that it came out before Eastwood's Sudden Impact.

I do still doubt that Eastwood said "Make my day" in Blood Work (as suggested above).  I'm still waiting to be proven wrong.  ;)

Zombie thread revival!

I watched Vice Squad the other night and couldn't believe it when a cop said "make my day" to a "perp"!

The Vice Squad writers must have been annoyed when Clint made it a famous worldwide catchphrase a year later!

I'm not familiar with Vice Squad, but that's really interesting!
