I don't want to lean too far off topic, but if I remember right, Ebert gave Spider-man ** 1/2/****, which usually translates to a "thumbs down" on the show. Two and one-half stars usually isn't completely negative. In fact, I've read the Spider-Man review he wrote and I really agreed with it (both the positive and the negative things he said about it). The "negative thing or two" that Roger had to say about it kept him from recommending it. I think of all the movies he has listed, I've seen four of them: Minority Report, Blood Work, Pumpkin, and Signs. All very good movies. Perhaps this subject (matter) belongs in the off-topic forum. I mean, let's face it, I just leaned way off topic here.
