It's from Sudden Impact, the fourth Dirty Harry movie.

That's right, Kal ...

sumant23, you can hear the sound file on this site. Go to the main page and click the link to "Audio Clips." It's on Page Five, near the middle of the page ...

There are a number of lines in Dirty Harry that include that piece. Also, it's in the credits of Magnum force somewhere. -the opening credits that is.

??? I'm not sure what you're talking about, Washingtonian. There's nothing similar in Dirty Harry, and the line in the opening credits of Magnum Force is a variant on the most famous speech in Dirty Harry.

In Dirty Harry (bank robbery scene):
Quote
Ah-ah, I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I've kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum the most powerful handgun in the world and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?
(Repeated, varied slightly, in the final scene with Scorpio)

In Magnum Force (opening credits scene):
Quote
This is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and it could blow your head clean off. Do you feel lucky?

I'm pretty sure Eastwood never uttered the words "Go ahead, make my day" on camera before Sudden Impact.
