My wife and myself started watching Vikings  halfway through season 4 and fell in love with the show. After the season ended we binged watched every episode starting with Season 1 and are caught up. We are actually re watching them again. :)

Oh, glad to hear from another Vikings fan!

I've followed the series from the beginning, though I tend to put off catching up ... there is SO much violence on every show. I suppose its historically authentic, but it's a little hard to watch sometimes! I have about a half-dozen episodes from Season Four to catch up with still.

You are in for a treat KC! The violence is very realistic and it is hard to watch sometimes but I love the characters! It is a well written and filmed show.

Enjoying the second season of Shades Of Blue.  Also enjoy Match Game and Family Feud, hosted by Alec Baldwin and Steve Harvey, respectively.  Both hosts are very good.

Not exactly current but this show is getting a re run over here. I'd never heard of it..
(Just how many western tv series were there in America late 50's early 60's ?)

TATE 1960

A western show starring David McLean as a bounty hunter/ gunfighter roaming the west and getting involved in all kinds of adventures.. I've only seen the opening episode so far but enjoyed it so I'm gonna watch the whole series..
Lots of interesting guest stars coming up including Robert Redford, Leonard Nimoy, Martin Landau and Robert Culp to name a few..

Interestingly the main character has a crippled arm making him the first tv hero with a dissability ?

Theres also an episode directed by Ida Lupino who's career greatly interests me so I'll be looking forward to that

and lastly the series was created and mostly written by Harry Julian Fink... who I'm sure all of us have heard of..

The original Manco?

I've never heard of Tate. It does sound interesting!

Hmm, the plot thickens!

I see by Wikipedia that there were only 13 episodes ... it's no wonder it's rather obscure.

There are some complete episodes available on YouTube. I'll have to check it out sometime.

The lead actor is great in it... Tho obviously very cheaply made it's well written and at times quite dark...
Often feels like it's too short and needs more time to develop its stories... Great run of guest stars..

No, I left Ragnar and his lame son all alone (having killed off their companions) somewhere in England. ;D

I'll get back to it if I can get some time off from baseball and all my British crime dramas.
