I love The Karate Kid, but that whole set up does sound pretty sad. :D ;D

Christopher, watch it! At least the first episode.  ;D

I'm now onto Season 2 of Sinner starring the excellent Bill Pullman..

Gant, I've watched Season 2 and it's definitely worth watching, but I strongly preferred the first season to the second one.

Peter, I've also seen 13 Reasons Why. Season 1 is good. Season 2, not so much. They are planning Season 3 now, and I have no idea what that is even going to be about since the central story was really concluded at the end of the first season.

Gant, I'm also watching "The Kominsky Method," and have watched 3 episodes. So far, I am enjoying it. Gant, it sounds like we have very similar taste in TV! :)

I finished "The Kominsky Method" today. This is what I learned: Alan Arkin is a much better actor than Michael Douglas.

Its such a shame they dont make more episodes a year. You watch them all in a couple of days and when its such a great show, you want more.

You children are spoiled. We used to have to slog through nine or ten months before we could watch all the episodes in a series for a given year. And we couldn't avoid sitting through commercials.

And down here, we had a six month delay on top of that!! ;D

Last month I signed up for Disney+ and started watching The Mandalorian. There's only eight episodes for the first season, and they've been releasing them each week, so next week is when the final episode of the season will be released. The show takes place in the Star Wars world, of course, and my thought after the first few episodes is that this is the best Star Wars has been since The Empire Strikes Back.

Yeah, I signed up too just for The Mandalorian. I've enjoyed every episode so far.

I bought a sound bar a few weeks back and the sound on each episode is awesome. Like a 35-40min movie each week.

Only the first episode and Im a fan already.  I I still consider the original cast tv series and movies to be the best but have been curious about this.  I think they did a very good job and look forward to seeing more.  I hope it makes up for TNGs lackluster film series, of which First Contact was their only good one.
