I do not know if anyone of you is interested in this, but here in Germany the movie distributors have a strange habbit. They tend to translate or completely change the titles of the movies which are to be shown in the cinemas. So I will make a list for you with the alternative Clint movie titles which we have here. Of course I will retranslate them into English, so that you all can understand them. I hope you enjoy it!!!  :)

- Play Misty for Me = Sadistico - Wishconcert for a corpse! (Stupid!!!)
- The Gauntlet = The Man who nevers gives up!
- GBU = Two glorious bastards!!
- Eiger Sanction = On the mission of the Dragon??
- High Planes Drifter = A stranger with no name!
- Josey Wales = The Man from Texas
- Pale Rider = The nameles rider
- Thunderbolt and Lightfoot = The last one gets bitten by the dogs
- Two Mules for sister Sarah = A Feast for the vultures
- Coogans Bluff = Coogans great bluff
- Madison County = The Bridges at the River

There are many more but I don' recall the titles at the moment! So what do YOU think about these alternatives???? ??? ???

Yes we got those silly titles in Finlan too.I only remember few.
The Gauntlet:The bullet alley
Play Misty for Me:Nightmare of the night
Eiger Sanction:The Mission in the Alps
High Plains Drifter:The whip
Two mules for sister Sarah:Fistful of Dynamite
Where Eagles Dare:Eagles are listening
Enforcer:The Crusher
Thunderbolt&Lightfoot:Tough guys
Every which way but loose:The man from San Fernando
Any which wau but loose:Sissys(or wimps) gow down
Avd there is many more.Luckily they are getting better with the titles. Many times they just don`t translate the title. They only but sort of a subtitle under the real title.

I kinda like The last one gets bitten by the dogs ... for a different movie, though.

Sissies go down doesn't sound like a movie I'd want to see. :P

What`s wrong with Sissies go down? ;Too X-rated sounding or what?
Seriously. The word"sissy"was the closests that i could think off to translate that original stoopid finnish title.
I remembered few more.
Bridges of Madison County:Quiet Bridges
Googans Bluff:Magnificent Googan
But it`s like i said they are getting better with the translating the titles.Bloodwork was Blooddebt. ;D
