Alright, the newbie is gonna start a game!  This is something I've done before in film buff chatrooms and it's pretty fun.  It's called Complete the Scene.  I start with the first line of dialogue from a particular scene.   Then someone else comes in with the next line and so on until the scene is completed.  If everyone is stumped then I'll post the next line to push it along.  If this has been done before here, then disregard this whole thing and call me a moron! :P
What gets really interesting is when an entire film is quoted.  Maybe I'll do that one of these days.

Here goes:

In more than 30 years of police work this has got to be the single most outrageous transgression of authority I ever heard about.  What the hell did you think you were doing?

I guess my idea wasn't interesting enough KC.  Sorry!

To continue:

Briggs Is it your job to harass and incite an old man into a heart attack?

Harry My job is to investigate homicide.  That old man happened to be one of the biggest crime lords on the west coast.  How the hell was I supposed to know he was going to vapor-lock?

Briggs But you hoped he would.

Harry The Doker case was mine.  It was at a standstill.  I was just trying to break it loose.

Briggs Sure, with threats and intimidation.

Harry Any way possible.

Anyone care to continue.  ANYONE?

BRIGGS: Are you aware that you have destroyed months of surveillance and intelligence work? We're talking here ... thousands of dollars, hundreds of man hours ... Special Investigations has been bustin' its ass preparing a case against Threlkis.

Sorry, S&W44 ... :(  Maybe our member "D'Ambrosia" will see this and join the game, since it's "his" movie.

I think this was from Guntlet or it could be from In the line of Fire but I don't know what the next line will be.  :'(

"He would have just snaked his way out of it. Maybe we saved the taxpayers a little money"

"I ought to bust your ass down to traffic.....or better yet, kick it off the force. You're a dinosaur Callahan, your ideas don't fit today."

"Just what ideas are these, that murder's a crime? That it shouldn't be punished?"

"Don't you lecture me, you son of a b*$@h. You know who you're talking to (hmm hmm), you know my record?"

"Yeah, you're a legend in your own mind"

"GODDAMN YOU CALLAHAN!!"

"Gentlemen, that's enough. Inspector, your methods are unconventional to say the least.....but you get results"

Eeeee-yuh.
