Has anybody here actually met the man and what were your impressions?

For myself, I live in hope. Someday, I hope to be lucky enough to be able to ask Clint to sign one of my DVD's and maybe get a picture with the great man.

If you did get the opportunity to meet Clint and get his autograph on one DVD. What one would you take along?

Decisions, decisions...  :o

I'd probably take my Dirty Harry box set. Or would that count as five? ???

:-*Hi ! I'm writing from France, and i'm completly found of Clint ! My brother who lives in Paris saw him walking in the streets with his wife and a couple of other people.
Everybody was watching him, a woman came close to them but she was asked not to disturb him ! He told me Clint is really handsome and he was smiling as he can do ! It happened 2 years ago. I was furious not to be with him at this period !á á

nft  = National Film Theatre, for those of us with shift keys.

Here's where we discuss their February screenings of The Outlaw Josey Wales:

vik, here's the thread where we discussed Eastwood's appearance at the NFT, promoting Mystic River in an interview with Michael Parkinson.
http://www.clinteastwood.org/forums/index.php?topic=1425.0

I didn't make it at the last minute, but philo and others were there.  8)

(A friendly note...we don't have to rely on KC or the other mods to find links to old threads...we can spend the time to dig them up too - it's pretty easy with the search feature  :))

No worries, vik.

I bet it is too!  :o  I think I'd be like Lin:
get so tongue tied I wouldn't be able to say anything just smile at him.
:D  Would want to try to say something serious about the quality of his films, but probably feel like a dumb screaming fan and lose my nerve. ::)

I think I'd ask him to sign my Bridges of Madison County film book.   8)

I have met him and there was a thread on here at one time where it was talked about .

Here it is.

http://www.clinteastwood.org/forums/index.php?topic=1571.0

Lilly, I have always been sorry that you missed it. I feel we could have made sure you made the trip and worry later. (if you know what I mean)

It was a great time and a moment to remember for ever.
