We've gotten quite a few new members recently and I just wanted to call their attention, and anyone else's attention, to the avatars you can use that are in this thread.

Matt started this thread and made quite a few avatars and has been adding to them.  You will find all the ones he has made on page 1 of this thread.  Several other people have made some, too, and those can be found on pages 4 and 6 and you will find a few scattered out throughout these pages.

If you don't know how to add an avatar to your profile or don't remember how to change yours, please let one of the moderators know and we will be happy to walk you through it.

Just letting everyone know I've added another dozen avatars to the first post on the first page of this thread. If anyone would like to use one of these avatars and doesn't know how to update their profile, PM any of the Moderators.

I made a few avatars for the heck of it:

Also, just a suggestion, but would it be possible to link all the avatars to the front page? Just so people don't have to go searching all through these pages to find one they like.

Nice job, Brendan.

I fancy changing my avatar to some Clint-related pics every now and then, so, does anyone feel like making some more of Thunderbolt and Lightfoot and Tightrope? (Esp. a couple of Clint and Jeff Bridges together would be good, and if one could be of them in the car together, that would be great). I like ones of Clint and big guns also...(maybe D'Amb would agree with me here!) more of those would be good! ;)

I'd do it myself but I haven't learned how yet  ???

Thanks, ally

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

Ally, I'd been wanting to make some extra Thunderbolt and Lightfoot avatars for over a year and never got around to it. So consider this a pretty quick response to your request.

Hope there's one there that you like.  :)

Excuse me for being real dumb - I am a "newbie" after all but what is an avatar and what can I do with them. For those who clearly know..please take pity on a Rookie Scottish Guy!!!!

Clintus, an avatar is the little picture that most of us have under our user names.  If you'd like to use one, you can right click on any of the pictures in this thread, select "properties", then highlight the entire URL (web address), go into your profile (enter your password) and then go to the section on avatars. You can check the box that says "I have my own pic", and click on the empty field there, right click your mouse and hit "paste". The URL will go in the field, and you can exit out of your profile and have a picture under your user name as well.

Got any more Tightrope ones for us then Matt..? ;)

Seriously I appreciate you doing those Thunderbolt and Lightfoot ones recently. Like I said before, if I had the technology, I'd do it myself...

Look through this whole thread, Adam. There's quite a few from both of those films already here.

Thanks Matt, they're very good. I see you've changed your avatar accordingly  :) I think I like the ones of Wes walking along the railway, (though is it my imagination or does he look a little see-through in that still?) the one where he's leaning over Beryl at the gym, and the one where Beryl is reaching out to touch Wes's face.

Though the male members of the board would surely disagree, I am not as fond of the ones where Becky is all greased up, and displaying her wares  ::) And the handcuffs one...what can I say :o

I'm going to stick with Jeff and Clint for now...I love that avatar...
