I've never heard of Hunt for the Wilder People, SK. Have you seen it before?

I recently bought the original series of The Addams Family. I always liked watching The Munsters when I was a kid, but never really checked out The Addams Family, so this series is pretty new to me (not counting the movies from the early '90s). I've watched the first few episodes and enjoy them. It only cost $20 so I figured it'd be worth it.

Yeah saw it when it was first released about 3 years ago. Very funny film from New Zealand. Highly recommend tracking it down. 😀

Apart from some drum tuition dvds I noticed that it's been quite a while since I purchased any movies.. Perhaps I've just been too caught up watching tv series recently...

After checking out the newest version of Nancy Drew on TV, I decided to order the first two seasons of the '70s TV series. I watched some of these episodes when the show was on Netflix a few years ago.

Godzilla
Police Story
and Police Story 2

Turner Classic Movies showed a bunch of Godzilla (or other standalone Japanese monster movies like Mothra and Rodan) last month and I recorded them all. I'm still working my way through them all, but I was super impressed with the original film. This DVD also has the American cut.

Police Story is probably my favorite action movie.

I haven't bought many DVD's this year but with a nearby store closing down at the end of January, all their DVD's and Blu Rays are 50% off. I got these 5 for a total of $30. (Those birthday gift vouchers come in handy) 8) 8) 8)

Dead of Night 1945

Excellent British anthology hirer film..

I've always warned to own this on dvd. All stories are great here but the last (ventriloquist doll story) is amazingly
good and very creepy...

I purchased this as a gift for an uncle.  Definitely a good series, even though Cruise is a Scientologist Moron.

Recently picked up Knives Out. This was probably my favorite movie of 2019.

Rawhide, I've watched some Magnum P.I. I bet that DVD set is nice.

A few days ago I picked up Friday the 13th: The Series on DVD.

This has nothing to do with the movies. It ran for three seasons in the late '80s and was created/produced by someone who worked on the movie series. I remember the show coming on when I was a kid but I was never interested because it isn't related to the movies. So making the purchase is a bit of a risk. :D But I've watched the first few episodes and I like it.

I got a four disc copy of Runnin Down a Dream. The first two discs are for the nearly four hour movie, disc three is a 30th anniversary concert, and disc four is a CD. I watched this movie a few years ago (just shortly before Petty's death, in fact :'() and loved it. This might be the first documentary I ever bought on DVD.
