Yeah, Aline, I enjoyed the movie version too. The TV series is one of my all time favorites. I'll probably get the rest of the seasons as they become available for individual sale.

I also enjoyed the Get Smart movie, and I'm glad to hear a fan of the original series say they did. :)

I've got season one on DVD. Want to get season two.

"Missed it by that much."

'Get Smart' was a very popular TV series in the 60s, still makes me laugh today.   ;D

Fantastic film!  It's been sitting on my shelf calling out my name for another viewing.

Continuing my collection released by magazine Veja, I bought this gem yesterday:

North by Northwest

Great movie. Love Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint in it. It's amazing how the romance was so much more charming back then. Find those kind of movies more appealing than tons of Basic Instint and the similar ones.

North by Northwest is a wonderful film, Aline! One of my favorite Hitchcocks.

It's cute his cameo at the beginning, when he tries to take the bus and just misses it ;D

That's cool! Glad to hear Gadget has new fans. It was my favorite show as a kid, and I'm pretty sure that's a big reason why Get Smart appealed to me so much.

The Fugitive - Season Two - Volume Two

Name: Richard Kimble. Profession: Doctor of Medicine. Destination: Death Row, State Prison. Richard Kimble has been tried and convicted for the murder of his wife. But laws are made by men, carried out by men. And men are imperfect. Richard Kimble is innocent. Proved guilty, what Richard Kimble could not prove was that moments before discovering his wife's body, he encountered a man running from the vicinity of his home. A man with one arm. A man he had never seen before. A man who has not yet been found. Richard Kimble ponders his fate as he looks at the world for the last time. And sees only darkness. But in that darkness, fate moves its huge hand.
