Similar to Walt's DVD thread,but this one's for CD's.

The last CD I bought was:
The Rat Pack on stage in Las Vegas and St.Louis.
I highly recommend it for Rat Pack fans.

I bought several cd's at the used bookstore a few days ago.  (The same store where I bought the Once Upon a Time in the West dvd.)  They were all albums I currently owned, but on tape:

War by U2
Toys in the Attic by Aerosmith
The Long Run by Eagles
How the West Was Won by Led Zeppelin  (I didn't own this one actually, but I already had many of these songs on cd live already (or on dvd), but it was a good price, and this is supposed to be Led Zeppelin live at their best, according to Jimmy Page.)

There were a couple others I was looking for, but the store didn't have them.  My U2 tape I played so much that one day the tape broke and I'd been looking to finally replace it.

O0 Cool Lin.  I have that too, it's great.  I tried to get the Region 1 DVD off eBay but it never got to me.  :(   There's a brief old thread HERE.

A couple of days ago I bought
Paris Blue Kyle Eastwood Brilliant 8)
8) I listened to clips on the Amazon site, and looked at it in the shop, but haven't forked out for it yet.  It's on my list.

I'm not buying many CDs at the moment, but the last one I borrowed from the library was The Very Best of the Eagles, because I wanted to listen to Take It Easy and the lyrics about standin' on a corner in Winslow Arizona... 8)

Latest CDs I own are two I got for Christmas, Diana Krall's The Girl in the Other Room and A Night in Paris.  She's great.  I was given the DVD of her Paris concert for my birthday but haven't watched it yet - saving it for a rainy night.  O0

You'll enjoy the concert Lilly, don't wait for the rain  ;). Diana Krall is a fantastic talent. Great pianist and wonderful singer combined.  :)

The last CD I bought was "Let it Be - Naked", which I love. Who else has both versions, and which do you prefer?

I haven't bought too many CDs lately--I've been downloading my favorite songs and putting them on CDs. Plus, I've gotten a lot of gifts lately (all Lennon solo albums): "John Lennon Acoustic", "Lennon Legend", "Plastic Ono Band", "Imagine" (not the Soundtrack, but the original album), and "Mind Games".  I had the last three, but on vinyl. Now that I have these albums again, I'm amazed I went this long without them on CD. They're all so damn good.

I love "Take it Easy" too. I could hear the song start playing in my head when I read this post (but you left out the part about the girl in a flat-bed Ford slowing down to take a look at me ;)). I have two of The Eagles greatest hits albums.

I mentioned not long ago my latest CD buy (which is rare in the first place) was Collective Soul's Youth.

I prefer the Naked version especially The Long and Winding Road without the strings.

When is this film going to be released on DVD?

Never heard of it.  What's that like?  I've been meaning to buy the Lennon box set for a while now, but just haven't for some unknown reason.
