Can someone PLEASE tell me the name of the tune, or from which of Ennio Morriconi's works the watch tune in The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is found. I remember it being played in the final shoot out scene but when i play the soundtrack for Il Triello (The Trio), it's not there. PLEASE HELP

That's a fantastic piece of music. O0  You can hear sound clips via the Fistful of Film Music pages accessed from the main page of this site: http://www.clinteastwood.net/welcome.html

The piece from the final showdown between Mortimer and Indio is in a .ram file HERE.  There's also a .ram of the pocket watch on its own, HERE.

You can buy the soundtrack from Amazon via a link on that same page.

Listening to it again just now...it evokes all the feeling of that brilliant film. Genius.  O0 O0

Lilly thanks for posting the watch tune.    I have just played it over again and you are right it does evoke all the feelings of that brilliant film.   There is something about Morriconi's music that haunts you long after the movie is over.   As does Doe Eyes, Amanda's theme and other themes written by Clint.  The music from his movies are such a part of story and not just incidental fillers as in some films.

Ahh yes, the watch tune.
... it seemed to really mesmorize ya. I think it mesmorized those in the middle of the shootout before the song ended too!  ;D

I loved the tune though.. the whole soundtrack.  ;)
